Everything was just fives stars. When you are staying somewhere else not your home you'd want to have almost the same comfort as your home: this is the place you'll find your comfort like your home. My husband and I had a wonderful time in this place and loved the hosts. They both were really nice and very good cooks... More

We stayed for two nights at this lovely B&B. Our Hosts Monique and Hibo were so friendly and helpful. The suggestions they made towards restaurants, sights to see and routes to take were suburb and very helpful! Breakfast is delicious with several options and Hibo's own baking is compared to none other! I would highly recommend this B&B if you... More

We had a comfortable room in this nicely maintained house. The breakfast was just what we needed and our hosts were very pleasant. It's right across the road from a large supermarket, a short stroll from the Montmorency Falls, a half-hour busride from old Quebec City and a five-minute drive from the Ile d'Orleans (our destination). I would very happily... More

So, How did wife and I end up here? We are from Helena, Montana, the tour bus driver for Quebec recommended this B&B because he lives 3 blocks away. But, also he called the B&B up to see if we could book that night. We have never used a B&B. So, we took a chance, site unseen. This was a... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Of course, staying in a B&B is a congenial experience and conversations over breakfast are a good occasion of sharing experiences, opinions, stories and laughter. However, this type of accomodation might not be the best choice if you want to hit the road early in the morning. I would like to allow... More

My husband and I recently stayed here on our trip to Quebec city. Our initial attraction was definitely the price - we paid 58 dollars per night. The rooms are nothing special. They are very simple but make for a nice place to stay. There are three rooms: one which has a private bathroom and two that share a bathroom.... More

My wife and I stayed with Monique at her fine B&B this past August. The location was perfect for our days on Ile D'Orleans (a 7 minute drive across the bridge), our day in old Quebec City (a ten minute drive away) and a visit to Montmorency Falls (a five minute walk). There is also a boutique-style grocery store right... More

This is a nice, simple B & B. There's nothing fancy -- A room with a bathroom (some are shared). The hostess, Monique, is very interesting to talk to about the area and life in French-speaking Canada. She also lived in New York, so she can relate to Americans. We had the large bedroom upstairs. It was definitely clean and... More

This is exactly what you want in a B&B - gracious hosts, large and beautiful rooms with nice furnishings, terrific food. Great for a romantic getaway! You can easily walk to Montmorency Falls (and avoid paying the fee to park a car there), and it is just a few minutes drive to Ile d'Orleans. Plus, it is only a 12... More

We stayed at Au Gite de la Chute during a winter weekend in Quebec. Monique the proprietor is very welcoming and warm. The house is well located just a short walk from the falls and a 10 minute drive to Quebec City. Our room was large with its own modern, clean, well functioning bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast... More

Monique makes a wonderful breakfast; the crepes with maple syrup are worth getting up for! We had a very positive experience; stayed here while exploring the surrounding area. Monique gave us sound advice, steering us on roads less traveled to beautiful locations and fun experiences. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Evening visits were a pleasant conclusion to our days... More
