Quinta del Sol is a charming and comfortable oasis. I stayed in the Casita which has its own patio area. The rooms are all comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts are made to order by Eleanor. Eleanor and Rick are amazing hosts. They provided lots of suggestions for day trips and maps to get us to where we wanted to...

We stayed in the Mariposa suite for two weeks in February. The room was spacious and very comfortable and had a lovely balcony overlooking the lush, manicured garden. Eleanor was a gracious host, bending over backwards to accommodate the needs of her guests, providing healthy and delicious breakfasts, offering us beer or wine on a hot afternoon, arranging for cabs...

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this wonderful little B&B. Our room was very comfortable and had English television, although the TV reception was better in the living room downstairs. There were complimentary alcoholic beverages and snacks and a lovely living room to enjoy them in. Eleanor was a fantastic hostess who provided us with printed recommendations for...

We had a fantastic stay at Quinta del Sol. We stayed there for a week over Christmas. Eleanor was a fantastic host. The breakfasts were amazing. The house and bedrooms were excellent- really spacious. The garden and pool were beautiful also and the kids enjoyed the pool. Great location walking distance to everything.

This was our second stay at Quinta del Sol and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ajijic. This time we came with another couple and they were blown away by the accommodations, the breakfast and especially Eleanor and Rick's hospitality.

Eleanor was a most welcoming host showing us around their lovely B&B, a snack basket full of goodies and a service bar ready to relax and watch a large flat screen tv. in a comfortable living and dining area. I loved the walkway through a beautifully manicured garden and pool area to our very comfortable casita with terrace tucked away...

We got back from our vacation in Mexico about a week now. We went to Ajijic and the city of Guadalajara and Lake Chapala. We went to Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende and then from there we went to Playa del Carmen. Let me tell you this, the fondness of all those places we visited was Ajijic at Quinta...
