From the minute we walked into Los Artistas we felt welcomed. Our hostess, Carol, who was caretaking while the owners were away, was friendly and suggested great things for us to do while we explored Ajajic. The breakfasts were scrumptious and we absolutely loved the B&B's meticulously landscaped gardens. The location was walking distance to everything as well. We certainly...

A wonderful safe, secure garden setting where you can relax and read, bird watch etc or socialize with other guests around the 'breakfast table' to solve the worlds problems or find out what's new in town and where are the best eateries this year. A world class garden and wonderful Mexican hacienda style rooms. Close to everything but a peaceful oasis behind the walls to relax and unwind.

The fact that my wife and I have stayed at L.A. five times over the years should suggest to you that this B & B is nothing short of excellent. Our average length of stay is two weeks. On one occasion we stayed a month. As other reviews attest this little garden of Eden is a retreat where you can...

My husband and I stayed here with our 11 year old for 3 nights and we wished we could stay longer. It was very quiet and relaxing, especially nice after shopping all day and just to come back to our room to unwind was fabulous. The outdoor patio off our room was very nice to sit outside and enjoy the...

After a long and tedious flight, my husband and I arrived in Guadalajara Airport at 5:00 am. The owners of Los Artistas arranged for a driver to pick us up who was amazingly calm and content even after having waited for an hour and a half from when the flight arrived. We were frazzled and tired. He was smiling and...

We loved the privacy of each casita, the tranquility of the huge, lush gardens, the comfort and spaciousness of the common areas, the charming decor, the friendly staff and hosts, the central location, and the sense of calm. Outside the courtyard, the hub of the markets, the other villages, the restaurants, the art, the nearby historical sites, and the friendly...

We absolutely loved the beautiful gardens of Los Artistas. The tall walled sanctuary gave one the feeling of safety and peace. We delighted in the many exotic bird songs and sightings in the garden. The staff were so friendly and we felt very welcome. Linda and Ken have such an amazing collection of art and fine furnishings. It was particularly...

If you are reading this review then you are probably one of two minds. One Do we really want to stay at a bed and breakfast? OR Two is this the bed and breakfast we should stay at? If you haven't stayed at a B&B before....Do it. Years ago my wife and I wondered if it might be uncomforatable staying...
