I am always looking for somewhere different to go when members of my family come to visit me in Mexico. For quite some time, I had been wanting to visit Lake Chapala and for one reason or another, I just didn't manage to do so. Some friends mentioned that I should go there recently but unfortunately the town of Chapala... More

Quaint place. Didn't have enough time to discover ajijic but rode through town and had a special lunch laid on by the lake. Excellent spot and great local cooking. The hotel room was 8 by the pool. No neighbours. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed the Mexican colours of the room and the rest of the establishment

Besides being in a excellent location, virtually in the heart of the village, Casa Del Sol is charming as soon as you walk through the door. The entrance leads into a spacious gathering area suitable for breakfast in the morning and getting together with friends. A short walk passed the bar leads you to an outdoor area with one of... The people who own this B&B know how to please their customers but go beyond showing them beautiful artwork from all over Mexico in their design of the rooms. I am still staying here for two weeks wish more but whoever comes here and is interested in art will love it. All the shops in the area and Tuesday/ Wednesday... More

Stayed two nights. First morning there was no hot water. Let it run five minutes. Went to manager and told him of the problem. Where the response should have been "I'm so sorry", it was we have plenty of hot water, you just have to let it run for a terribly long time. Staff not friendly and a bit weird.... More

My girlfriend and I were happy with our stay at the Casa Del Sol Inn. Nice pool, grounds, rooms. Appreciated the purified tap water. Helpful and courteous staff. Good north american style breakfast made to order. Clean, safe.

We dashed in for a two night stay while the owner was out of the country. Her staff was excellent and took good care of us. The bed was comfortable, the room spotless and well maintained. The on site restaurant was especially good and was booked the two nights we were there. We enjoyed a good breakfast on Saturday morning... More

We spent a wonderful relaxing week at Casa Del Sol with Cathy. She is a gracious host and always helpful. The rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable. A hot breakfast with several choices was available daily except Sunday. We arrived late and Cathy arranged a driver to meet us at the airport and bring us back to the B&B.... More

We have stayed at the Casa del Sol B and B a number of times, always completely satisfied. The usuals are all met: clean, good beds, excellent service, etc. When we fly into Guadalajara, Cathy Roberts has arranged for a driver, usually Miguel, to meet us a.nd even check us into our room if it is late in the evening....
