The airport in Guadalajara is about half an hour from Ajijic. A taxi will get you to Estrillitas for approx $45.00. There is interesting shopping everywhere in Ajijic...not a shopping mall in sight! There is a Walmart about 20-30 walking minutes away from the centre of town. Taxis are very reasonable. Buses are a great option and very accessible.

"Read the review. Get the room upstairs on the street. Best people watching in Ajijic."
