We went to Centro Vacacional Oaxtepec on an overnight trip and was thoroughly impressed with the recreational facilities and food. We stayed in the more economical rooms that sleep 6. The rooms are very basic but did include hot water. The shower has a button feature where you have to repeatedly hit the button in order for more water to...

We love the Centro Vacacional IMSS Oaxtepec. It has something for everyone. When we have plenty of time we go camping, which is economical and fun (it can get noisy though when young people arrive in groups); when it's just a day or two we choose the Hotel Tepozteco, which is generally quiet, clean and relaxing. Everyone is friendly and...

My family has enjoyed this recreational space since I was a baby. It is a really cool and kind of old school complex of hotels and bungalous with restaurants, pools, club house, stores, spa, sulfur water pool, and lots of beautiful green areas. It has all the price range avialable, from 20dls camping to 100dls hotel with awesome view, so,...

El Moro is a Morrish style resort hotel in lovely La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico, that treats the eye with beautiful design and lush tropical surroundings. Located on the Malecon of the beautiful Bay of La Paz, one may acquire a private and lovely suite with one or two bedrooms, each with an all-purpose kitchen/living room and private balcony overlooking...

My wife and I traveled to La Paz for several days in July. It was very very hot! Club El Moro is clean, cool, and relaxing. The hotel is a quasi-moroccan themed place and is run by some very nice people. The junior suite that we rented was very spacious, the pool was clean and cool, and the service was...

We stayed at the El Moro for over a week recently. The hotel is across the main road from the waterfront. There are no hotels on the northeast end of town right on the water. The standard rooms are very spacious. The hotel is not large and room rates are from $60 U.S. per night to $90 depending on the...

“If you want to pay extra money, get a cabin that sleeps 5 people. It does cost over $100USD a night though.”

“If you like a private balcony and less noise, choose an upstairs room, but be aware of the hard beds. The downstairs rooms have softer beds and the sliding doors lead straight out to the grassy area, but they are generally noisier.”
