We stayed here for three nights in July 2014. The hotel has a Colonial feeling to it The rooms are spacious and clean. Facilities are old but Ok. The problem is that there is a bar just below the hotel. They start to put on realy loud music around 1pm and it goes on to around 2-3am. At night the...

We arrived at Patzcuaro on June 7, 2013 without a hotel reservation. It was the slow season and there are plenty of hotels, many not listed on the internet. We checked several hotels and posadas from 300 to 500 pesos a night. At 300 pesos it is often a bit poor quality, at 500 pesos you get a nice room...

My family and I visit Michoacan every year and had never stayed in a hotel but this year our house was being renovated. We chose to stay in Patzcuaro since it is the closest city. This hotel was perfect because it is right by the plaza. Gives you a great "Pueblo" type of feeling. It is not luxurious but it...

We are getting married at Patzcuaro, so we've stayed at different hotels each time we need to go there to plan our wedding. This hotel would definitely be my first option to my guests, since it's located at the Plaza Grande, it's very cheap and the rooms are very nice. Of course you don't expect any luxury when you're paying...

This was our first stay in such an old structure as "Hotel Mision San Manuel" in Patzcuaro, Mx. And it was indeed an excellent one, just make sure you do not get the room right above the "Bar". We were supposed to stay in Patzcuaro (a must-visit town while in Morelia) for just a night and ended up staying three...

Our upstairs room was roomy, with a small balcony overlooking the plaza, which was great for people watching but not so great at night with all the noise. Our biggest problem was the irregularity of the hot water supply. Be sure to ask for it before you want it, and ask again if it hasn't gotten hot yet. Hopefully, they'll...

Lovely old hotel (as are all of the hotels on the plaza) and good value. Rooms are spacious. Facilities old but O.K. The problem with this hotel and unfortunately all of the hotels on the square is that there is now a rock band in the bar directly below the hotel. The music is so loud Thursday-Saturday nights that no...

We recently traveled to Patzcuaro and stayed at the mentioned hotel, from the outside it looked decent. Our first clue should have been that there were no other people there, no one in the dining room, we got 2 seperate rooms, they were on the second floor clean but dark they were okay. We had breakfast in the dining room...

Above average compared to what???? We spent a night in room 218 overlooking the plaza. A king size bed and a giant fireplace with wood supplied......of course we had a blazing fire...just fantastic. Yep nothing fancy like a Hyatt, but this place was built in 1656...350 years ago....Clean, with hot water plenty and ambience and romantisicm like you can't believe...and...

We stayed here for one night in June 2006. We had been staying at a much more expensive hotel that wasn't in the center, and wanted a cheaper hotel and a change of location. I asked for a quiet room, and we were offered a pretty room overlooking the second courtyard, with a large airy bathroom attached. But it was...
