This review does not including the rooms, because I did not stay at the hotel overnight. I participated in a meeting of our company there, arriving early in the morning and leaving late in the afternoon. The place is pretty and has many rooms that work well for a business meeting. The food provided by the event center is wonderful....

A lovely property. We came with a group; when we arrived we were served a terrific BBQ in the tented adjunct to the bar. That indoor/outdoor feel, with the lake just off our shoulders. We watched the aide take the kids to a fire to make s'mores, cute. We had a great "cabin" with 2 beds on "main floor" and...

Dear Oma664: Thank you so much for taking the time on posting your comment. So glad that you got that feeling of camp for adults because that is actually the back ground of our company. We used to offer adventure trips for adults so we love that our evolution hasn´t betrayed our essence. Hope to host you again soon! Adriana...

This is a great place to escape the city, only 1hr drive from DF, when you get there you really get a mountain feel. The cabins are nice, but honestly for the price I was expecting much more, everything looked a little unkept (not rugged, just not well tañen care of). We did't get hot water for the fist 12...

Choosing this Hotel/location was a bit of a leap in the dark. I do not think I would especially recommend it, unless you are touring around or wanting to see the Monarch butterflies (Dec-March). The cabins were very nice with a veranda but a bit dark and could be quite a slog to get to up via some steep steps....

Mike: Thank you so much for your comments. They really help us. Some of the things you mentioned are now solved as the construction noise you mentioned which was due to renovations and improvements in the property. Regarding the food we have a new executive chef with an amazing farm to table concept. I hope you can come back soon...

This is one of the most ridiculous hotel experiences I have had. First, the lobby where the cafe and restaurant is was freeeeeezing. We had dinner --very average-- with our coats on. The place did not feel cosy at all. Second, the waiters were nice but untrained; we had to ask for everything: a spoon, a fork, sugar for coffee....

Getting there -- We considered renting a car for the 2 hour drive from Mexico City, but due to uncertainty about the road conditions and timing a return to the airport, we had Rodavento book a van for our family of 4 with at $180 US each way. It turned out that the drive to Rodavento was nearly all on...

Unfortunately I stayed there just one night. This hotel is in the middle of the forest, and is made of well built bungalows. Rooms are large and comfortable (some have 4 beds.) Although my stay at Rodavento was not long enough as wished it was definitely worth it. I enjoyed one night stay at this small but very accommodating hotel in June 2015. If you're going to Valle de Bravo I recommend you the hotel Rodavento. The activities are kayak, bow and arrow, rappel and zipline. The food is the same as in Mexico and its good. Also bring bug spray and sunblock.
