Excellent Hotel, to much more than a B&B, the restaurant a little pricey but Ok. All staff members were very helpful. Excellent room cleanliness, the fact that doesn't count the room with a TV make the ambient more relax. The hotel is very near of the "Plazuela" where you can take the tour ride through the town.

We stayed at the Posada for several nights and loved it. It was peaceful and culturally authentic. The courtyard was gorgeous, and the restaurant was fabulous! I would definitely recommend it. It was a great place to "get away" from all of the hectic things in life and truly live in the moment.

We stayed at the Posada Tacubaya the B&B attached to and run by Hacienda De Los Santos. The rooms were spacious. The common area with pool was peaceful and pleasant. The rooms had fireplaces. If you wished to have a fire there was an added charge for wood. That seems silly at 120$ US per night. The rooms smelled like...

We were pleased to read that you found the rooms spacious, the pool and common areas peaceful and pleasant, as well as the staff being helpful. It appears that we may have failed you upon your check-in of not explaining in detail about the policies for Posada Tacubaya. This is operated by the same family who runs Hacienda de los Santos. It is beautifully restored, close to the Plaza, great restaurants and scenic hikes. This little gem welcomes Dogs and children. It is fantastic.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We loved our spacious and well appointed accommodations-they even provided a dog bed for our dog! Access to the Hacienda grounds made the experience even more special. It was a lovely place to relax and is convenient to good restaurants, El Mirador and the town...

I wrote a glowing review of Tacubaya last year when we stayed for 2 nights along with our adult daughter and son in law. It has been our dream to return with our son and his wife. We told them how beautiful the place is; that they could enjoy romantic walks around the pool of the Hacienda, the tree lights and...

Thank you for returning to Posada Tacubaya and for your correct review. We fully agree with you and are making changes to have the B & B a totally separate hotel, with its own staff, and amenities. We are upgrading several features this summer, and hope you will be pleased with the results. We plan to keep the very reasonable...

A group of 4 adults, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights in the Girasol and Bugambilia rooms. Spacious and comfortable, the rooms have the feel of a huge hacienda. They open onto a delightful courtyard with small pool, water feature and lush greenery. The recliners in this area are super comfortable and easy to move. Coffee and small...

A group of 5 couples, we shared 5 of the 7 charming B/B courtyard rooms. All rooms were v. well appointed w/ much space, King bed or 2 doubles, a working fireplace, fridge in some, large complete washroom facilities. The common area was equally well appointed w/ a lap pool, various sitting areas & a large fireplace. The greenery was...

It has been over two years since we had the joy of returning to the colonial town of Alamos, Mexico, and we are SO GLAD we did. We brought our three young children with us, and were fortunate to stay in Casa Tacubabya. It is the coziest, most friendly, and charming hotel, that happily invites both children and pets. From...

We had such a delightful six night stay in Alamos. Posada Tacubaya is a wonderful little place to stay. The room was lovely, the pool and grounds were so relaxing, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. “The Boganvilla room in the corner had lots of street noise. It also lacked the tub and larger bathroom than the room facing it to its left. Just 4 wire hangers provided for two of us.”

“All the rooms are great. If staying over New Year's ask for one off the street. There are only 6 rooms, we stayed in Girasole. It was like staying in a private home.”

“Rooms 'Bugambilias', 'Amapola' and 'Gerbera' are on a cobbled street and the traffic noise is quite disruptive. I would request a room 'Alcatraz' or 'Girasol' maybe, that is further from street noise. The sound of trucks outside our window in Amapola woke us. Weekends would be quieter.”
