When we first arrived to check in they had trouble finding our booking. Upon checking into the cabana we discovered spider webs in the shower and reported the issue but it was late at nght so they were going to fix it the next day or move our location. It took the entire next day to resolve the issue and...

We booked three beds in a dorm. They obviously lost our booked beds. We needed to change and sleep in another hostel, some hundred meters away from the beach. The staff was totally unorganized and also unfriendly. We forgot to reduce our payment, because of the deposit. After we asked to get our money back, we have been put off...

We were in Costa Maya for a cruise stop and just wanted a place to relax and do some snorkeling without crowds of people. Blue Kay was a good choice for us, especially as the place right next door (separated by a high fence) that the ship excursion went on had rows of loungers without much shade. The Blue Kay...

Cabana-style accomodations very close to beachfront in Mahahual. Overall, the position is the strength of Blue Kay, the beach is wonderful and if you get to stay in the beachfront private cabanas it is surely a special stay. However I feel like sharing a few issues and weakness of the Blue kay we encountered during our stay (3 nights) that...

This establishment is an ideal location with complimentary hammocks and loungers on the beach. The huts are so cute but have very limited air conditioning in circulation so prepare yourself for a patchy nights sleep. Shocking heat. Unbearable. Staff are sound and the bar is well stocked. Good value for staying in.

They tricked us by saying we had to pay less then we actually ended up paying, if you are foreign they have a special menu for you in which the prices are 3 times more than they should, when we asked to talk to the manager she was absolutely rude to us. Mahaual is a beautiful place but don't go...

My family, ages 1 to 59, visited Costa Maya as one of the ports on our cruise. We took a cab to Blue Kay. We chose the $5 per adult package which included use of the gorgeous beach, chairs with shade or sun, and a drink of our choice. Perfect! We enjoyed the sand, sea, and snorkeling. We also ordered...

Just got back from our second cruise to Costa Maya in the past two years. We really enjoyed Blue Kay last year, and this year was no different. Blue Kay is fantastic. Very low key environment, delicious drinks, great food, and very friendly service. It's also the closest beach club to the port, making it very easy to get to....
