The photos of the hacienda looked great, however on arrival the room lacked basic expectations. For the price of the hotel and restaurant, it fell way short of what is expected of any basic accommodation. Dinner at the hotel was actually the most expensive meal of all of our Mexico trip. The postives were the positioning of its location opposite...

we're saddened not to have met your expectations. We have a multitude of different rooms with different bed sizes, hardness (or softness) for every taste. All you need to do is ask. Thanks for your visit.

We stayed two nights at the Hacienda Uxmal, a quaint hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. There were several large groups that came for a single night each, yet it was fairly quiet. They seemed to enjoy the pool. (January). The dining area had both inside and outside dining. The food was very tasty. Live music accompanied our meals...

OK, I was a bit reluctant to rate this hotel at first because I saw how defensive management could get in their response to reviews, especially since they have the last say, but....here goes: On the downside: The food was very good, but there were limited vegetarian options. I know this is the Yucatan and meat is a big thing,...

Beautiful hotel, comfortable lodgings, decent but not amazing food. Very close to the ruins. The other two or three hotels next to it offer exactly the same food, so I assume they are all under the same administration, which might be useful to know if you are unsure which hotel to pick there.

This hotel is amazing! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely kind and welcoming, the pool is wonderful and the food is delicious. Beyond all that, the location is fantastic for visiting the Uxmal ruins. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised to find that the ruins were just a...

The hotel is beautiful and quiet. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast wasn't included but food is delicious, authentic Mexican food. There is so much more to do than just visiting the Mayan ruins. We totally loved it!

We spent a couple of nights there over New Year. The visit to the archaeological site was wonderful and the hotel pretty good. Nice big rooms. A jacuzzi style bath. Bed a little hard but OK. Breakfast wasn't brilliant. And we therefore decided to give the New Year 'super buffet' at 55 usd +tax and service a miss. A wise...

We went to Uxmal to see the pyramids but actually truly enjoyed our stay in the Hacienda as much as anything else. I loved the outdoor pool, it is great for laps. Get up early and you will have the pool to yourself. The staff are wonderfully helpful - Angel was great. It is a remarkably tranquil place to stay...

A very convenient location just next to the Uxmal archeological site. The service is very good. We had breakfast just before going to Uxmal and even though the breakfast hours were over, they served us at the pool. Worth visiting it.
