We stayed here as a family in August on a trip across the Yucatan Peninsula, and this was our favorite hotel. It has serious old-world charm. The restaurant and some of the rooms are actually in a colonial-era mansion. The rest of the hotel is added on, keeping the look of the old structure. There's a bar adjacent to the...

This is a very special hotel right in the centre of town. It used to be a large family house and still retains that charm. The restaurant is in the open courtyard and the food is very special and excellent value. The old rooms overlook th courtyard and have Juliet Balconies. Very romantic

This is a lovely comfortable hotel in a Spanish Colonial setting –great location surprisingly quiet right on the square. Clean rooms, nice pool, and good service. Restaurant was consistently good and food presentation made you feel pampered. We ate and had snacks at the restaurant more than we normally would have over our 3 day stay because the courtyard was...

Great town! Great hotel! Great food! Good prices! And a nearby ruin not to be missed! The location was right across the street from the main square - very central. The room was very posh and surprisingly modern considering how old the buildings are. There was a lovely pool although I was too busy sightseeing to use it. The dining...

We stayed 1 night in this lovely hotel, just in front of the town square of Valladolid, you can't be closer. The hotel is an old colonial mansion, but with all modern facilities like cozy rooms with airco, restaurant, swimming pool, lots of green, free parking, Wi-fi (only in the restaurant), etc. I wish we could stay here longer, but...

This is a very handsome town house right on the zocalo, central square, with its extraordinary starling chorus in the evening. It's very spacious with big rooms, quiet at the back (although extensions were being started when we stayed), and a small but welcome outdoor pool. The eating area in the central sort-of courtyard is characterful with lots of room....

Stayed there only one night on our trip from Cancun to Campeche and enjoyed the colonial atmosphere, located in the heart of Valladolid, very close to the cathedral. Superior room (poorly decorated with little colonial atmosphere) was quite small and looking into the patio of the restaurant, but for the price of EUR 67 somehow acceptable. Hotel has some nice...

We stayed in this beautiful hotel in June 2011. It was our base camp for exploring the area and Chichen Itza. What a beautiful place!! The atmosphere is amazing, Old Mexico at it's best! The room were very clean and modern. I will say the mattresses were hard as rocks. In fact, it would have been softer to sleep on...

This hotel has the best location in town. Just in front of the recently renovated main square and opposite the cathedral, you are at walking distance from almost everything in downtown Valladolid. The food is truly Mexican, actually true Yucatecan and delicious. The tortillas are even hand-made on-site! The central patio's ambience is quite romantic. The rooms are good but...

Our "superior room" was very small and dark because of the unopenable window shade. The beds were too narrow for two people to sleep together. The shower was remodeled and clean. And, the wireless internet does not work in the room (barely have reception). The location was nice and convenient in the center of the city. The restaurants next to...
