Close to the center, very clean and cozy place, Beate & Paul are very positive hosts that make you feel at home. A great place to rest and enjoy amazing breakfast with lots of fruits and "café de olla" (if you don't know this coffee, try it and will be not disappointed...;-)). Each room is decorated/painted with very good taste,...

We had one night at Casa Axis Mundi on the 1st of the year! It was awesome as per usual; the casa is bright and sunny in daylight and cosy in the evening air! Nice spaces to relax all over, the front area is beautiful! Our casita was airy, clean, roomy and just the right temperature in the heat of...

Beate is one of the best people you will meet! She is kind and welcoming and generous. The casa is beautifully decorated, our room was so comfortable, very cool and airy, with a lovely ensuite bathroom. The location is perfect walking distance to the centre - and very close an amazing chocolate shop/cafe! :) Beate's food is amazing - breakfast...

Beate and Paul's B & B is a special place full of positive energy. Their casa is within walking distance to the town square, chocolate factory, Zaci cenote and many other attractions. The food in the area is fantastic but for a special treat try some of Beate's meals. The vegan 'ice cream' and smoothie for breakfast was the best...

I highly recommend visiting Casa Axis Mundi and signing up for the all-inclusive before owners Beate and Paul sell this charming bed & breakfast which is located in the heart Valladolid. My only regret was that I did not get a chance to meet Paul, who was tending to the farm in Canada during my visit in late April and...

I am a little delayed in writing this review, but my husband and I stayed here for two nights while on our honeymoon in June 2014. Booking was easy, Beate was wonderful in providing directions and info via email. From the outside, we had no idea how beautiful Paul and Beate's home was on the inside! It seemed to go...

When we were planning our Wild Woman Empowerment Vacation this year, we considered several hot weather locations. Many had the facilities we needed, but not the personal atmosphere and dedication to healing and wellness that Casa Axis Mundi presents. Owners Paul and Beate Epp ensured every single one of our requirements needed to facilitate our retreat were fullfilled, and then...

Such an amazing, beautiful, spiritual and safe space. Beate & Paul are so warm, compassionate, and welcoming. They possess a zest for life that is reflected throughout Casa Axis Mundi, which is also their home. Being there, their home really is your home :) The property is so colourful, warm, and beautiful and there is a pool, and many plants...

“I liked being high up. Note that the compost toilets are very clean--I had no trouble with them. The rooms do not have wifi, but the beautiful common area does. Very nice layout--very artistic, spiritual and welcoming. Very open air room which I liked, but you should also be prepared for some bugs as it is very open. Loved the decor and the functional layout of my room. One tip if you are taking the bus to and from Cancun--try to avoid getting food at the seriously overpriced Cancun airport on your return trip. The downtown Cancun bus station is a much better value. For vegans--the Subway has sandwich and salad options that were a fraction of the price of what was offered at the airport.”
