We discovered this place 3 years ago and have stayed there every year since. Denis is an excellent host and his staff are very accommodating. The facility is artfully beautiful. Valladolid is a very good place to be, particularly if you plan to go to Chitzen Itza, Ak Balam, Uayma or any of the many cenotes in the region. The...

We stayed at Casa Hamaca as part of a Culinary Vacation through Mexico. It was wonderful. Very comfortable room and beds, with a great staff. The breakfast is delicious and made to order, and includes local fruit, lots of coffee and many hot menu items. We also enjoyed a cooking class with the kitchen staff, and I highly recommend it!...

Denis was the perfect host, we learned so much about the area and travelling in Mexico. He patiently answered all of our questions and as novice Mexico travelers we had lots of questions. The rooms are large and comfortable and each one has a theme, bathrooms are tile and marble and modern. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the restaurant...

My husband and I stayed here while visiting both Chitzen Itza and Ek Balam. We would stay here again if in the area. Comfortable large bedroom, clean, friendly, safe. Wifi included and restaurant located at Casa Hamaca. Denis and his staff are helpful and accommodating.

I am so happy I decided to stay at Casa Hamaca Guesthouse! It's in a lovely location, peaceful, yet a short walk to the central area of the town. The rooms are wonderfully spacious and beautifully decorated with murals and unique, artful furnishings, and very clean and comfortable. The owner and staff are so nice and friendly and made me...

When we return every year it feels like we're home! Denis is an extraordinary host. His staff is great. Casa Hamaca is always spotless and airy. One of the many reasons we love Denis is for his warmth, humor and his generosity to the community. For a special treat, we recommend a morning trip to the market with Denis.

This is a great location and we had a wonderful time here. The breakfasts were good and the staff were friendly and made us very welcome. We would definitely stay here again. The owner Denis was on site and made us very welcome. He made time to talk to us. The food is good and freshly prepared. We had lunch...

Denis's statement of" check in as a stranger and check out as a friend" is very true. He gives every guest personal attention and strives to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. We made the most of our time in Valladolid because of his advice on where to go and what to see. Thank you Denis. Joyce and Tom.

We loved our stay at Casa Hamaca! Denis and staff took such good care of us, rooms were great and the beds really comfortable. Location is an easy walk to the central square and restaurants. But what made Casa Hamaca truly special was the friendly atmosphere Denis fosters amongst his guests. We have very fond memories of the time we...

Casa Hamaca was a great place to stay for our two nights in Valladolid, which was itself a pleasant surprise of a city. The guest house is set back in a well-landscaped 'jungle' of a front yard and boasts a very solid restaurant, a helpful and professional staff, a friendly owner, and the most consistent hot water we found in...
