From the moment we turned into the drive and saw the stunning architecture of Cliveden house we knew we were going to be staying somewhere very special for our 25th anniversary. The service from the off was exemplary. Our car was valet parked and we taken to meet the extremely professional Natalie on the front the desk who went to...

So pleased your 25th Anniversary celebration was much enjoyed. The room you stayed in is called Mountbatten and it really is a magnificent space with many architectural details. As you say it was the Snooker room once. Thank you for choosing us and I hope you consider returning to us one day. Great to see another lovely mention of Natalie...

A friend and I were visiting a few places in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire so we decided to book an overnight stay, spa treatments and dinner at Cliveden. I was attracted by the splendour of the Italianate house and grounds and the historical association with the Profumo affair. The spa treatments we had were very good and afterwards we enjoyed a...

This is our choice of restaurant and hotel when we wish to have a treat. Our milestones have been spent in the restaurant. with many lovely memories of an exquisite evening of fine dining. The level of customer service is higher than any other venue we have experienced.

Came here for Sunday lunch and it was super. Sat in the bar for a pre lunch drink with olives and almonds, drinks are pretty pricey but it is a 5 star hotel so you'd expect to pay well above average...my partner disagreed and was so shocked he had water! The lunch was lovely, salmon starter was very well cooked...

Sunday lunch is amongst the best traditions to be enjoyed at Cliveden, I am so pleased your dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. We hope you also enjoyed the views over the garden and that you had a little time to wander in them before departing. We hope you will return one day. Kind regards Sue W

The perfect stay. We were upgraded (thank you) to a beautiful contemporary styled room. Faultless service, great food and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Sitting round the pool was the perfect way to spend a glorious summers day. Our only disappointment was we couldn't stay longer. Already planning our return.

Well its not any old pool you know! Linger there and imagine parties past. That pool has had some interesting visitors especially in the 60's. We are so pleased that you are already thinking to return, we aim to creep into people's hearts so that you are drawn back to us. We look forward to showing you a different room...

What a way to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary! We stayed for two nights so that we could fully appreciate the setting and all the advantages of staying in such a grand hotel. We were treated royally - despite arriving in our little Yaris and parking it between two Ferraris!

Please be assured what ever your mode of transport, it would not effect your welcome at Cliveden. We have pushed Lords down the drive in the most battered of cars before now! Anything goes. Thank you for your kind review and we are delighted you were able to stay the 2 days and make the most of the House &...

Once again we had the most wonderful evening meal in the Andre Garratt restaurant. We chose to have the tasting menu which was first class, well presented and of good quality with the accompanying wines for each course which complimented the meal perfectly. When we arrived we were greeted at the reception and taken through to have pre dinner drinks...

My husband booked my birthday lunch here in April 2014 and we began with champagne and nibbles in the lounge, however a few minutes later we were shown to our table and the nibbles didn't come through with our drinks. Lunch was a set menu choice of exceptional quality and couldn't be faulted. The chef piped happy birthday on the...

So delighted that we are still in the forefront of your mind after all this time. We have debated whether to have music in the dining room but as the restaurant is so much busier these days we decided against it. We returned to Cliveden following a disappointing stay last September. We had a fabulous time, this was a totally different hotel to the one we visited before. We spent a relaxing afternoon by the outside pool, the weather was superb but it was far from crowded. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was excellent. Original features...
