Three of us for lunch. Only festive table d'hote menu available at lunch even though website says a la carte menu is also available. One of us is a vegetarian whose only option was wild mushroom risotto, alternative was another mushroom based dish from the bar menu. As my friend does not really care for mushrooms, not a great range...

We've often driven past and admired this hotel, we finally booked a mini break. From the moment we arrived, friendly helpful staff, lovely room, evening meal and breakfast excellent. Warm and cosy. Ideal location for Waddesdon Manor, Aylesbury and Bicester. Thankyou Five Arrows Hotel.

We stayed here for one night for our Wedding Anniversary. From arrival we felt very welcome & were shown personally to our room. Our room was in the annex building, clean & spacious and very comfortable & quiet. The evening meal was excellent & the service was good.

Great hotel at the entrance gates to Waddesdon Manor. We had a very quiet cosy room in the ex stables block (some rooms in the main house would be noisy because of the proximity of the busy A41). Very helpful and friendly staff and excellent food. If visiting Waddesdon Manor from the hotel we would advise you to take the...

Stayed for one night. Hotel looks lovely as you arrive, lit Christmas trees in grounds. Not the warmest welcome when we arrived from receptionist. Room was beautifully decorated & lovely en suite shower room with White Company toiletries. The big drawback for us was we were in room 5 which is right on the very busy main road. Cue one...

Firstly the room was as good as you can expect in a roadside Inn in England. Possibly the best I have experienced. It is next to a grand estate of Europe and affords great walking opportunities. The staff lack the class that would take it over the edge to be mentioned as one of the finest hospitality houses in southern...

This is a gem. We recently stayed for the second time and were allocated the best room in the hotel. The whole experience there was fabulous, from the glass of Prosecco on arrival, the wonderful venison at dinner and the comfortable night in the four-poster bed. The staff were all delightful and breakfast too was delicious. We visited Bicester, Waddesdon...

Entering the village of Waddesden was a delight as the high street buildings were all of a similar style and I could imagine stepping back in time when it would have been a thriving market town. Arriving at the hotel it looked every bit as good as I had imagined. Unfortunately our greeting at reception was not as warm as...

What a treat, only 14 rooms, recently renovated to a very high standard. Sitting on the entrance to Lord Rothschild's estate at Waddesdon. The food was fantastic and joy to behold. The english breakfast the best I've had in 50 years of traveling. This is a very rare hotel, it needs to be appreciated.

We stayed mid week for a one night break and was not disappointed. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom. And the restaurant was amazing. Exquisite food, beautifully presented, washed down with quality wine. Spent the following sunny, autumnal day exploring the grounds of Waddesdon Manor next door. Would highly recommend for a quiet mid week treat.
