Friendly and welcoming staff when I arrived, check-in was easy. I had dinner, breakfast and lunch and all three meals were excellent. I asked for a quiet room which was clean, comfortable and spacious. For warmer days there is an excellent outside seating area and residents have their own balcony area. The Inn is located in a quiet residential area....

The Elm Tree Inn is located among some Victorian terraced streets and the approach might make you wonder if you had made the right choice - however, persevere! The inn backs onto open fen countryside. There is reasonable parking but this gets pretty full at the weekend. The bed was on the soft side (which I prefer!) and the room...

Had a very good stay here. The room was spacious and had all the bits and bobs to make a drink and the nominal shower / hair products. The ensuite was clean and functional. The bed was really comfortable and I had a very good nights sleep. A very nice quiet room. Well worth the stay.

Very clean, friendly and comfortable. Maid service everyday, and very friendly staff. Front rooms are located on a noisy road and the drive is in desperate need to be regravelled, when it rained the pot holes filled with water. I was told their beef supply is from Cook's the butcher, which sells the best beef in this area. Kristina the...

Good sized, fairly basic but comfortable, light airy room. Excellent for a couple of night’s stay. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Very poor Wi-Fi connection in the room. The food was superb, the portions generous and very well presented. Will definitely return for meals in the future.

This is the first time we have been and we will be going back. We had the Sunday roast the meat was so tender and plenty off it.There were ten in the party and every one said how nice it was. The atmosphere was nice and the staff fantastic. It is a hidden gem. We will be back.

My partner and i went for a meal on a saturday night. Menu choices were fantastic and the food itself delicious. Setting is fantastic. Whole place is very clean and a lot more classy than your normal pub. Staff were very friendly on arrival and the waiter in the restaurant was fantastic. Ellie, christine, matt and tom were spot on....

KRISTINE was very helpfull and welcoming. She was always checking that we were happy and that our needs were met. If I was in the hospitality industry she could work for me any day. The bar and restaurant were clean and tidy with good food in the menu.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Although we're proud of everything at the "Elm Tree Inn", our restaurant and accommodation is the crowning glory. Tastefully decorated, carefully lit, and comfortably furnished, you will appreciate the attention to detail that has been put in by Neil and our staff. Our "Farm to Fork" Ingredients are sourced locally and as you would expect from us, quality is paramount. With notice, we can also cater for any special dietary needs you or your guests may have. However, the quality does not stop at the surroundings; Head Chef Neil Misquitta and his team have built a reputation for the meals they prepare, whether a simple lunch in the bar, Sunday roast or a full full three course meal in the restaurant with all the trimmings. ... more   less
