Ruth and Steven go above and beyond what you would normally accept from a B&B. This is more than a B&B, this is a home from home and when you arrive it is like coming home, their warmth and friendliness makes you feel like you are part of the family and nothing is too much trouble, like the packed bags... I had the pleasure of staying at Primrose Cottage for 2 nights on 2nd & 3rd September, 2016, whilst visiting my Son, who has recently re-located to Cheshire. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, Steven and Ruth made me feel so welcome. Primrose Cottage is certainly more than your average B&B. Steven and Ruth provide so... More

"Second time we've stayed at Primrose Cottage and Ruth & Steven treated us like family! A warm welcome, rooms immaculately clean, nothing too much trouble and the egg & bacon sarnies an absolute treat" Well be back (try keeping us away)!"

Stayed at Primrose Cottage over the BH weekend and Ruth & Steven could not have been more accommodating. Being vegan it's difficult to find suitable options for breakfast, but not for these wonderful hosts. Lots of fresh fruit, cereals (with a choice of Soya, Almond, Rice & Oat milk), toast (with dairy free spread & jam) soya substitutes for bacon... More

Cannot fault the hospitality ,cleanliness, bedrooms and great breakfast. Lovely pot of tea when we arrived and a taxi service to the local inn for our dinner. Nothing too much trouble and lots of thought to provide everything needed. We wished we were staying longer.

I had a delightful one-night stay at Primrose Cottage, where I was spoilt rotten. The welcome was warm, the room and en-suite bathroom were immaculate and the breakfast excellent. I would strongly recommend this B&B to any solo traveller or family. The afternoon tea was most unexpected, but very welcome after a long journey.
