Having booked the wrong "Cheshire Cat" I.e Nantwich instead of Chester I was rather anxious about our stay. However we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable. The evening meal was delicious, with excellent service. Being a Saturday night the bar later that evening became very busy with good music. Dan and his team of staff were...

Having booked this hotel to allow us to attend a wedding, we were more concerned about its location. The location was central in Nantwich, which was great for getting out. The room it's self was clean, tidy and would suit our needs. The bathroom had great under floor heating, however this heated up the whole room and there was no...

Hi Emma, Sorry for the late response, as you can imagine it's been a very busy month! I'm pleased to see that generally you were pleased with your stay overall with the food, location and cleanliness of our facilities. I do apologise for the lack of sleep you experienced in the evening due to the temperature of the room, although...

I had a housewarming in July in Nantwich and am only just getting around to writing this feedback. Various members of my family booked 4 rooms in this hotel to stay in Nantwich for the housewarming. When I made initial enquiries, I was told that the hotel could perhaps be a bit lively on a Saturday night with a resident...

We stayed here on Sunday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We'd heard good things about the rooms at the Cat but were left a little bit underwhelmed. The room was average, nothing which made it special or stand out from a chain hotel (e.g. Premier inn), although we did like the cat wallpaper. The super king size bed was very...

Hello, I'm saddened to see that the only negative aspect of your stay was the room. We get many compliments on the decor and quality of our boutique bedrooms. I have passed your kind comments onto the team and I am pleased to see the breakfast was nice as expected. Hope to see you again soon on your next visit...

We arrived having spent 3 weeks touring Britain and with great expectations which sadly were misplaced. The room was small with a big bed and a wet room that flooded when using the shower. We booked for both Friday and Saturday night and having gone to bed on the Friday we were kept awake until 2.30am by music so loud...

Hello Jeff, Firstly, let me offer my sincere apologies that we didn't live up to your expectations. We do try to inform guests that we are next door to a lively nightclub but on this occasion I can only expect there has been a breakdown in communication. I also apologise for the fire alarm which turned out to be a...

If you are in town for a wedding or party then the title of the review should not put you off. If you are visiting for a quiet weekend and you value your sleep then perhaps look elsewhere. Lovely room, small but with nice facilities. Central location, close by parking. Reasonably priced food.

Hello PimmsQueen, I'm sorry to see you didn't have the best nights sleep. Unfortunately the noise you experienced is from a neighbouring club. We do try to inform our guests when they book that we are situated in the heart of a lively town of a weekend. Despite this I am pleased to see you enjoyed the room, our facilities...

Visited with 2 friends, had mains and a dessert. The food was gorgeous. My friend had the Caesar salad which he loved, myself and my other friend had the chicken breast accompanied with mushrooms, tomato, hand cut chips and a watercress garnish. Which was also lovely! Compliments to the chefs. The service was quick and the waitress who served us...

Staff here are lovely & helpful but there definitely needs to be an upgrade to rooms & breakfast to warrant charging £110 for a night. The bed in Room 5 has an extremely lumpy & uncomfortable mattress which needs replacing. The decor is basic & the hairdryer did not seem to work. The shower is great but the Lino floor...

Hello, i'm sorry you were left disappointed with your experience with us. I cannot help but feel your comments regarding the decor, uncomfortable bed, bathroom tiles and glass wall are down to personal taste. We don't receive any negative comments regarding the decor and we are still in keeping with a town centre boutique hotel. As for the taxi service...

Have to say from the start the staff are young and very friendly!! Stayed for one night on a Saturday and the room was small and fairly basic in a separate newish building across the courtyard from the old historic building.
