Lovely atmosphere, scenery, food and staff. Will definitely be staying here again. Very economical too! Beer garden was lovely, menu very nice. Room was very cosy and clean. We had our dogs with us and the hotel was very dog friendly with a lovely lake nearby and woodland walks so the dogs loved it as well!

We found this gem of a place via a booking website while looking for a place to stay for one night. As soon as we went in we could see it was the kind of old-fashioned pub that we like and the food being served looked lovely, as we arrived around 8 pm. Although it was a Tuesday evening, the...

This is a charming hotel not too far off the main road. We were greeted at reception by friendly and efficient staff and checked in by Lizzy- we will meet her again in another review. We had a room in the cottages which is annexed from the main hotel and, as such, is very quiet and peaceful. The room itself...

We decided at the last minute to break our journey south at the Innkeepers Lodge Sandbach. An extremely good choice being only around one and a half miles from the M6. The Lodge is an attachment to THE BEARS HEAD pub. Checking in is done at the bar and we were then escorted to our bright, modern and spotlessly clean room.Room...

We've eaten here numerous times over the last few years. Quality isn't always good and unfortunately this meal wasn't one of the best. Our starters were fine, very hot and tasty. I ordered a steak to be cooked medium rare. The steak when it arrived was so tough, that I was unable to cut it or even chew it. I...

I had never stayed with Innkeepers lodge before, but I have to say I'm impressed. Check in desk is at the bar of the pub, and was very friendly. This was the first time I have been shown to my room in years. The room was very comfortable with the biggest shower I've had in a hotel room. I ordered...

Only 5 mins from M6 so an easy place to spend the night. Room and bathroom spacious and comfortable. WiFi excellent. Set menu in pub only £13.95 for 3 courses and very nice. Staff friendly and attentive.

Good things - staff were friendly, enjoyed the continental breakfast, the complimentary items for those you have forgotten is a nice touch. Clean room, good size bathroom. Comfortable bed (if you like them soft rather than firm). Tea making facilities. Not so good - exterior is tired, small room (did book a family room but was given a standard -...

After a bad experience the night before, it was nice to stay at one of the better chains. This is a lovely old inn with some cottage type accommodation added on. Smooth check in, comfy room, free wifi , loads of parking. The menu is the same as all the other hotels in the chain, but the quality is generally...
