We ate here as a party of 7 adults and 2 children. There was a small area with a few toys and pens and paper for the 4 and 6 year old to entertain themselves. The food was beautiful. My niece and sister are fussy eaters and both enjoyed their food. The children wanted strawberries for dessert and this wasn't...

Called in here for a lunch with friends, very welcoming, attentive staff. Nice feel to the restaurant/eating areas. I had the club sandwich which was lovely and a really good pint of Eastgate ale. Staff were professional and pleasant. My friends had fish goujons and chips which looked great! Thank you all at the Swan, I will call again.

Stayed overnight prior to attending an event at Peckforton Castle. OK the bedroom floor sloped somewhat alarmingly but that just added to the charm of the place. Great welcoming and cosy hotel - just perfect for an overnight stay. Good selection of real ales in the bar and a top rate breakfast the next morning. Hope to find an excuse...

I was given a well appointed room with a gloriously comfortable bed, a bathroom with a deep tub. In the evening I chose from...

I would thoroughly recommend the Swan for either lunch or dinner. It's a little gem. The food is excellent with good quality wine by glass, and all very reasonably priced.Excellent service from the staff, even when it is very busy.

We stopped off while passing through , hadn't booked one of those spur of the moment decisions! And what a delightful decision it was! Easy to park, great friendly staff, super attentive service and ....... the most delicious meal we have both had in a long time. Traditional roast beef and hake with risotto - divine! Beautifully cooked, ample portions...
