We love the Lodore Falls and visit every time we are in Keswick. It is a beautiful hotel and very grand. We popped in for some lunch after a walk around Derwentwater. We sat in the bar area on a comfy sofa, it was busy and bustling, but the staff were attentive and smart looking. The took our order and...

We recently stopped by this hotel for lunch on our cruise trip on Derwent waters. Really impressed with the atmosphere. Although slightly pricey, the portion size is good and you pay for the service and atmosphere.

Nice relaxing afternoon tea with prosecco in a lovely setting. Got married here 8 years ago tomorrow and nice to be back. The bar area has benefited from some investment recently and now has a modern but still comfortable feel about it.

Stayed at this hotel on two occasions now both times have experienced exceptional service. On the most recent occasion there was an issue with the day that had been booked and we had missed the reservation. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had the day changed and were still able to take our trip to Keswick....

After a 4 mile walk from Stair with dogs and kids we walked into this beautiful 4 star hotel a bit apprehensive as we were dressed in walking boots and clothes etc with two muddy dogs. Oh but what a treat - we were given a warm fluffy towel to dry the doggies paws and then directed to the "Labrador...

Whenever there is a good deal here, we try to pay a visit. This is our second within a few months - and we enjoyed seeing the refurbishment. Afternoon tea and evening meal both excellent, as always. Our room didn't have quite such a stunning view this time, but they can't all be at the front! Excellent service as ever.

Not too sure of decor on first visit (preferred it on second visit though). More spacious in reception lobby and looked more modern, although staff uniforms looked rather old fashioned, and I bet hot in the summer - old ones better! Library nice although Dog Part rather odd!!! Reception Desk - awful - cold, hard and totally uninviting, the opposite...

Excellent stay the staff were so welcoming nothing was too much trouble for them. Afternoon tea and scones were brought outside as it was a gorgeous day. We had a lovely afternoon tea with pink gin fizz! We had popped in for a drink the day before whilst walking the loop around derwentwater and saw the advert for afternoon tea.
