After a very long and wet drive we stumbled across this restaurant. What a friendly and inviting place. Our food was amazing! Would definately call again if in the area. Thank you so much to Jane who very kindly posted our sons jacket to us as we left it behind! An all round great place!

What an Amazing meal tonight at the parkside! The Staff were very friendly and nothing could be faulted. 10/10! We can't wait to return again soon! Very reasonable price and great choice of dishes, loved the specials on offer which included scallops and sea bream

Whilst on a walking break we ate here twice. First we chose an 'ordinary meal', which proved to be well cooked and delicious. The next time we made more of an occasion and ordered the specialities of the day. The chef certainly showed his skill and talent. We were most impressed. Both meals were excellent in different ways. We shall...

My admin booked this in the afternoon of arrival due to the unavailability of my usual hotels in whitehaven, I must admit I was apprehensive as the photos do not do this beautiful hotel justice. I was booked in for 1 night B+B and arrived 8pm after a long day in the office. I checked in at the bar in...

We booked this hotel as we couldn't find any nice places to stay in Whitehaven that were within our budget to start the C2C. We were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is lovely. It has a really nice seating area for chilling and having a few drinks, as well as nice tables for eating. The food was delicious and the chef...

This is truly a case of never judging a book by its cover!! Whilst this hotel may not look like much from the outside it's accomodation certainly surpassed my expectations. Fantastic bed, brilliant shower and great ammenities. Breakfast left a little to be desired but I think the chef had his mind on his tapas and cocktail afternoon.

Stayed for 2 nights with my family. A beautiful location with an amazing view from our bedroom window. Is a family run hotel and the owners are welcoming along with the locals. The whole hotel is immaculate and the breakfast was delicious. Not overpriced either which is always a big bonus. Certainly a place I would return to and recommend...

Well, well, well, what can I say. After being on the road for 10 hours from Kent (bleeding traffic, and a blow out), we finally arrived at our destination. Now, first things first, it isn't dank and dingy, it has character, especially as it is most definitely an old building. We walked around the back, and were greeted by 3...
