This was our 2nd Coast to Coast stop. It was situated just out of Ennerdale. My wife and I got picked up from Ennerdale by the hosts so there was no issue. The room were well presented and relaxing and the food was great. We left the next day very refreshed.

Stayed here after first day on c2c walk. Rooms were good, food was superb. We had to telephone when we got to ennerdale bridge as hotel is a little of route so they sent a car for us , then returned us to the trail the next morning.

We stayed here on our C2C walk and the hosts were brilliant. The rooms were well presented and this is the only stay on our journey where the luggage was delivered to our rooms. We ate in the restaurant and we must have looked hungry as the portion sizes were huge. The quality was excellent. We were picked up from...

My husband and I ate here on the second of our two night stay at Rowrah Hall. Although we were too early for food we had a quiet drink in the pub area before going through to the dining room. I can honestly say it was well worth the wait ... Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Great food at...

We ate at the Stork for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). The owners were friendly and welcoming. I ordered the steak pie. It was superb. The best steak pie that I have had for a very long time. All 3 of us enjoyed our meals so much on the first night that we returned the next night. The food was...

Stayed here on C2C. Very efficient pickup service from Ennerdale Bridge. Imparted some great advice on directions too, which we were too stupid to follow! Lovely raspberry meringue, and we really appreciated our packed lunch.

Stopped here on C2C walk. Welcoming hosts in a traditional small village pub. Whilst it was quiet the hosts were very visible and keen to chat. The food was excellent - the home cooked steak pie was amazing and breakfast was great too.

We visit once a month for food when we are karting at Rowrah but decided to stay over this time. They didn't have a family room so we said we would bring an air bed for our 11 year old however the bed in the room was that big that we all slept in it and had a good night...

We were picked up from the Shepherds Arms (wet and cold!) and had a lovely, very warm welcome at the Stork Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, thankfully the heating was on (in May), the food was excellent, our hosts and the general atmosphere friendly and welcoming. Our wet boots were whisked away and we found them clean and dry outside...

Visited here for dinner with my husband on a chilly evening. As soon as you walk in you are made to feel very welcome by both the staff and the beautiful fire in the main bar. I simply can not fault the place. The food was tasty and plentiful and all was served nice and quick. As well as being...
