This was our first visit to Aynsome Manor Hotel and we had the most lovely stay (3 nights). The hotel is located just a little outside of Cartmel.... perfect location with beautiful scenery all around - very peaceful. It is comfortable and beautifully decorated and the staff are all very professional and friendly. Sometimes not an easy mix to get...

We have just spent two very enjoyable nights at Aynsome Manor. The hotel is in a good location, not far from Cartmel. Our room was was comfortable with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. For dinner I chose fish terrine, pork (meat and vegetables both beautifully cooked) and a wonderful white chocolate parfait. My meal...

We held a family celebration for my mum's 90th birthday. We had 25 for lunch and 12 of us stayed for the night. I had not visited the hotel before so had a lot of correspondence in advance with the lovely Andrea, who dealt with all my queries promptly and reassuringly. When we arrived everything was delivered exactly as promised....

Stayed here during Valentine's so we could enjoy Cartmel. We've stayed in many of the hotels & B&Bs in Cartmel and this is one of our favourites. It's only a short walk to and from the village, we timed ourselves at 15 minutes at a leisurely pace enjoying the view. A torch is a must for the evening walk as...

We stayed at Aynsome Manor for a relaxing Valentine's weekend. Service was attentive and pitched just right. Food was really, really nice; breakfast and dinner. Bed was super comfy and room exactly what you would expect for a Country House hotel. Thank you to all at Aynsome for a lovely weekend.

A nice hotel, with lots of charm. The staff were very attentive and helped with all of our needs and requests. The breakfast was very nice and well cooked, and there was a wide choice of items available. Only slight downside was the room was located in front of the main stairway so we were woken by people going down...

My partner and I stayed for one night, as we were visiting family in the area. From the moment we walked in the front door we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the two sitting areas in the hotel are lovely. It was great to sit by the log fire and unwind with...

We booked a family (adults) break on the recommendation of my sister, who had stayed here with her husband earlier in the year, and picked up details of an excellent offer for stays in December. Four of us stayed in the annex, which meant us having a little cottage of our own just across from the back door of the...
