Brilliant welcoming pub with a roaring fire. Went a a group of 3 after a days walking. Lovely food ideal after a good day out on the hills before going to the tents. Good selection of ales on tap. Will be back!

This place never fails to deliver been camping here for many years. The Food in the pub has always been excellent and the service efficient and friendly. A true Lakeland jem! I would recommend the Venison stew. Nice fire on a cold night!
