We stayed in the lodge on the other side of the car park. Rooms were a good size and nice and clean, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming....

We stayed at Low Wood for the sixth year running and we were not disappointed. It is in a lovely setting with fabulous views of the screes and village below. Handy for the two pubs too which are just a few minutes walk away and a vast number of walks can be done from the doorstep. Service is always friendly...

We stayed at Low Wood Hall for a long weekend in March 2015. Its a well run hotel in a beautiful period building with fantastic views across the Wasdale Screes. The room was very comfortable with all of the amenities we needed. We ate evening meals at the hotel which were of high standard and very reasonably priced. The breakfast...

We visited here last summer. The other places in the village had stopped serving food so we tried here. Nothing was too much of a problem for the staff. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, as was the beer. It's a lovely place with stunning views. Please give it a try if you're out there off...

Stayed at the Low Wood Hall Hotel recently in Nether Wasdale. What a glorious village- there is nothing there apart from a few houses and sheep and two marvellous pubs. We had a superior room (well worth the extra £10) overlooking the village and because there are no street lights we left the curtains open all night and could go...

I've stayed there on few occasions while on business, rooms are more of a b and b rather than hotel standard. View from the restaurant is absolutely breath taking, unfortunately I can't say the same about the service. One night for my dinner I've ordered cannelloni, instead I was served something resembling few slices of aubergine in tomato sauce with...

We were fortunate enough to have our wedding here in August 2014. The location is perfect and Low Wood Hall has plenty of character and charm which was just the unique place we were looking for. The owners and staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming and went above an beyond our expectations organising our big day. The food was...

MY partner and I stayed for two nights in Sept 2014 at this hotel and I can honestly say it is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The setting is picturesque and unbelievably tranquil. The views are amazing from the dining room and bar area of fells and peaks. The service was fabulous and nothing was too...
