The pub is nicely set out and clean. I wasn't keen on the stuffed dead animals everywhere and in case you are similar include photos. The room was 100% as described small and hot, but they provide a fan to make it cool enough to sleep. I had a very good night sleep. There is a kettle in the room...

I paid the best rate in the place and wasn't disappointed. Amazing room - really nice - spacious - nice bathroom and enormous bed. Food was delicious and too much of it - couldn't eat it all. The only problem I had which was not the hotel's fault was that I was in the room that overlooked the street and...

Lovely, clean, comfortable room in the old pub. Excellent evening meal - best gammon steak my husband has had in years. Very good breakfast. Welcoming staff. Good location for a stopover on the journey to Scotland as only 5 miles off the M6.

The pub is horrible I went for a meal and food was shocking I asked for medium to well steak and a good vet could get it walking as it was still bleeding all my food was cold. The customer service was shocking chewing gum whilst serving my family not a good way to greet customers.

This is a nice old pub in the middle of Sedbergh. It is nicely decorated and has a lovely ambiance. The service was good, but the prices are very expensive for both food and drink. However it is situated in a small village and so if you wish to eat out you have little choice. Prices aside the pub is...

We stayed in the Cottage, unfortunately there were a few issues with the property and we could not find how to work the central heating and could not find any instruction. The place was clean and comfortable. We ate at The Dalesman, the food was very nice but a little pricer than we had paid on the rest of journey...

Nice meal meal enjoyed by all off a wide extensive menu. Good service. If I were rating this it is slightly more expensive than it should be. Ambience - very nice, homely and traditional Bar - wide choice of wines, beers and spirits. Service - Very prompt, efficent service.

After a rather strenuous trip up Winder Fell, we decided to reward ourselves with a Sunday lunch at the best pub in Sedburgh. It was 18c but as we chose our table outside the British weather did all it could to spoil it. - but it failed ! Mixed cold meat starter, sunday roast for the wife, good old steak...

We received a warm welcome for our night at the inn despite arriving far to early before check-in (something we have had a problem with on our last to breaks away). Our room was modern with a few quirky touches which we liked very much. The food both for breakfast and dinner was excellent. We found the staff friendly and...
