I was at this hotel on a 2 night stay. Well worth it. we got the weekend through wowcher and it was good. The hotel is set in its own grounds in the middle of nowhere. So if you want relaxation this is the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. We had...

There's a lot of good things about this hotel. The staff are very helpful and work very hard but there simply isn't enough of them we visited last weekend there was a mix up with our booking but they sorted it out quickly. The hotel was very busy and really could have done with more staff especially at breakfast time....

Room was a disabled room with wet room. Unfortunately I was surprised there was no emergency alarm cord. This has never happened before. Told manager who said he wasnt aware it was required. For me it is important as my husband is deaf.

If you don't know the area this hotel could be missed and that would be a pity. Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a coach party from 13th to 17th March. We could not fault it....the staff were friendly courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived making sure all our needs were met, removing our luggage from...

A good but rather tired hotel which had character. The room was very comfortable and warm as it was freezing cold outside when we stayed. Powerful shower with very hot water. The restaurant was good with lovely cooked food and attentive staff but with quite an old fashioned traditional menu. Breakfast was traditional English but everything fresh on the buffet....

Me and my boyfriend stayed hear from Saturday 11th to Monday 13th March 2017. We stayed in room 3 which had a huge, comfy 4 poster bed. On the Saturday night there was a Northern soul function on. Was a bit noisy but it all seamed to settle down by 1AM. We had a light bar meal that night then...

A fairly big hotel that can cater for 300 guests at a time. The food was very ordinary and in some cases disappointingly awful. The staff were friendly but could not cope with the number of guests they had and subsequently the service was poor.

Arrived early so we were not able to check in. It was very cold and drizzly so we drove to Penrith. On return about 4pm we checked in. I was looking forward to a nice warm bath as we were cold and wet. No heating in bathroom. It was very cold. Reported this straight away. I was told someone would...
