What a lovely weekend we've just had a the tomlin guest house. We were made to feel so welcome and our three young children, aged 7 to 10 have loved it. Our rooms were really comfortable with everything we needed. The owners David and Irene were perfect hosts and could not do enough for us. Other guests staying were lovely...

We stayed at the Tomlin Guest House for two nights, it was a perfect place to stay, the room was very clean, warm and comfortable Mr & Mrs Whitehead are exceptional hosts, really lovely people. Breakfast was superb with a varied choice and cooked to perfection. We would certainly stay here again without hesitation.

We had an excellent 2-night stay at the Tomlin Guest House. We arrived later than expected but this was no problem and Irene welcomed us very warmly. We had a large room with shower/toilet a separate room in the hall (no problem for us). We slept soundly both nights. For those doing the C2C walk the starting point is a...

We stayed here for a few nights before we started our coast to coast walk. Our clean twin room was ensuite complete with a flat screen tv and tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities. From the window in our room you could see the start of the coast to coast walk. There is wifi available throughout the guest house. Irene is a...

The guesthouse is a short walk from the train station towards the beach. The accommodation was comfortable, the room clean and facilities were good. Dinner was at the Seacote Hotel just done the road. There was good advice on what was ahead on the C2C and breakfast was a good starter for the day ahead. Highly Recommended.

Tomlin house B&B was an excellent start to our C2C walk - thank you very much to Irene and David. The location of Tomlin House is great - just a couple of hundred meters from the RNLI station and the start of the C2C. We arrived early in driving rain and were welcomed warmly by Irene who showed us to...

Like most of the other reviewers, a friend and I stayed here at the start of the Coast to Coast. After a long day of travel (10 hour flight + six hours of train travel), we arrived weary and exhausted. Irene greeted us warmly and showed us to our extremely comfortable room. Loved that there was hot chocolate available in...

Excellent staring point for the Coast to Coast walk - 100 metres from the beach and the walk start point. Stayed in the 3 bed "dorm" on my own with the bathroom next door. Nice room, very friendly reception and a fine brekky to start me on my way. Couldn't ask for any more really.
