As a regular visitor to Anne's Li'let Hullets, I have to reiterate what a home from home it has become. When staying in the South Lakes,Hullets provides everything a visitor could need.A clean, well equipped bed and breakfast, away from the masses but close enough to get good food and drink from nearby hostelries. Handily placed on the A591 with all lakes destinations easily reachable
Anne is a lovely host. The rooms are clean and characterful and the cottage is full of history (it’s 400 years old!). The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms offer everything you need (shampoo, shower gel, conditioner…). I stayed in the attic room which was lovely :). Do call Anne if you’ve booked with Booking.com to confirm your booking with her as I know that the website has been causing her issues.
We booked with Lil Hullets B&B for an over night stay because of the great reviews and boy we were not disappointed. Ann is just the most accommodating host we have met. Nothing was too much trouble and the accommodation has everything you need and what you may have also forgotten too, Ann has it. We stayed in the Attic room which was very comfortable and quaint with a private bathroom. Staverly a small rural village hosts the Hawkshead Brewery Food Hall. A 10 min walk from the B&B and is absolutely worth the visit. Fantastic selection of cask ales and the food was absolutely delicious. Also just outside the accommodation is the 555 bus route which takes you to Kendal, Windermere. We travelled by bus to the Watermill Brewery Inn, just 3 mins or a 20 min walk. Fabulous food and great choice of their ales too. Thank you Ann for an enjoyable stay, your home is clean, friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed your great full English breakfast.…
Lovely host, nice breakfast and clean room, defo recommend this place. It is like visiting your family. We had a good sleep, nice and quiet area and very easy to find. We will definitely stay again should we come back in this area in the future. Thank you so much.
Quirky and unusual B&B run by Ann who’s a wonderfully gregarious host. We got the last room - in the attic - which would be a dream room for climbing kids. We left at 0600 for the last part of our walk and Ann prepared a takeaway for us that sent us on our way.
