Second visit here and I am blown away by the amazing welcome and the family feel. I am an area manager of restaurants and stay in hotels numerous nights a week. The fishermans will certainly be the highlight of my weeks when staying in barrow going forward - highly recommended thanks! Dan

I recently stayed at the Fisherman's Arms with a colleague while on business in Ulverston. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted, checked in and shown to our rooms. I have to say, the size and quality of the rooms were excellent. My own room had a very comfortable double bed, with a plethora of pillows (is there a collective...

Booked in at the Fisherman's Arms Hotel for a weekend break. We arrived late on the Friday because of traffic problems, the chefs stopped on to make us a meal and it was superb. Lovely generous sized room with a view over Morecambe bay. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stopped in. Lovely location, would highly recommend.

Came here for a birthday meal with family on the 3rd December. The welcome was good, service was a bit slow at times and they were not busy. But still had a good night 😀😀 Food was nice, fresh and hot. Would go back.......

Visited as a party of 30 for the Christmas set menu. The food was incredible and everyone loved their choices, being fish lovers my wife and I chose the salmon and shrimp starter followed by the cod loin which were both amazing. The lady who looked after our party Emma was a credit to the fishermans and looked after us superbly...

Stayed here last week for a couple nights with our two Grandsons. The bedroom was separated into two which suited the boys! Breakfast was lovely as was the dinner we had on both nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will return sometime in the future.

The has to be one of the best place to eat around Ulverston and Dalton the food is fresh and locally produced. The portion sizes are just right they are not too small and not too big. The place is perfect for a peaceful bit to eat after a walk on the beach or a trip out. It is perfect...

We stayed for a weekend break as a family. Beautiful location just out side of where our family live. Lovely room, lovely food, very comfortable. However not a hotel. It's a restaurant with rooms. No bar service like a hotel should have or even B&B's I've stayed in have a night bar. When we wanted a drink we were told...

Went to the fishermans for lunch with a friend and my 20 month old. It was fantastic! very clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and they even brought crayons and paper to keep my daughter entertained. The food was delicious and very well presented. Cannot wait to come back :-)

This place is wonderful, after a fruitless half an hour one Sunday trying to book somewhere, I phoned here, so lovely, yes come down they said. Off we went and although pleasantly full it wasn't heaving like other places, allocated a lovely window table and the staff were lovely as usual, food superb as usual, service excellent as usual, even...
