We have stayed at hunday manor this weekend using a travel zoo offer - excellent value at £169 for a double room for 2 nights with breakfast & evening meal on the first night. The food, room, service and all of the staff were fantastic and I would highly recommend booking this deal Only one slight negative was that some of the common areas were a little cool but otherwise I would give 10/10 We will definitely be returning.

I booked The Hunday Manor Hotel for a special 90th birthday celebration lunch for my mother and all her family. The service from all the staff was exceptional, from the party arrangements beforehand to the service on the day. Nothing was too much trouble! They allowed us to select all the options for the lunch, to arrange the table settings as we wished and provided excellent service. The hotel surroundings were comfortable and the food was fantastic! Hot and tasty and very reasonably priced. Even though we were a large party, 20 plus guests, all the food was served quickly and efficiently. I cannot praise this hotel and its staff highly enough and they made this special birthday very memorable for everyone. I will not hesitate to return for our next family celebration! Thank you to all the staff including those behind the scenes for their incredible hard work!

Absolutely fabulous food . Great service by the staff who were just amazing on Thursday , god knows how many hrs they work a day but thank you . Your service was just great and we really enjoyed our time there . There was a tiny crack on the side panel of the bath in our room which was not a problem at all . The rooms are spotlessly clean with big soft fluffy towels in the bathroom . Great view from room 22 out onto the gardens . Made very welcome thanks to all.

What a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous part of the country! We found this hidden treasure after cancelling our foreign holiday & what a find it is! From the outside it looks a perfect setting for a Murder, Mystery film. The grounds are beautiful & the front door is guarded by 2 huge stone dogs which look very imposing! The interior is gorgeous & homely, the rooms are beautiful & the staff are fantastic! They all added to our entertainment which made it a wonderful trip away!

We have just returned from a short break in the Lake District, staying at Hunday Manor Hotel, for the first time in 6 years. The hotel may have changed owners in that time but what has not changed is the lovely rooms, great hospitality & service, and fantastic food. The breakfasts, especially, are incredible. The new owners John and Rachael are incredibly welcoming and all of the staff from reception to housekeeping and waiters cannot do enough for their guests. It may not be the best location for visiting the Lake District but it’s worth the reasonably short hop to the gorgeous scenery. We will be back 😍
