Oh what a wonderful hotel. Fabulous, modern, comfortable rooms and WOW that bed - never slept so well. The view from the bed when you wake up is beautiful (Room 11). Lovely restaurant in the conservatory and well done to the chef, the breakfasts were delicious - loved those kippers. The evening meals were good too, an extensive menu plus...

Lovely place for a Sunday afternoon tea. Took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer. All nicely presented, however not that much on the tray. 4 quarter sandwiches each and a lot of cakes. Wondered if it was served smaller than a 'normal' afternoon tea because if the offer. Service was great though.

Dear Taina Thank you for your review following your recent visit to the hotel restaurant and glad to hear you enjoyed your afternoon tea. I am quite perplexed to hear that you thought there was not much on your tea stand as most other diners who have recently taken afternoon tea have commented that there has been too much and...

We stayed one night and were upgraded to a "classic" room which was modern and comfortable. The bathroom was small but nice enough and had a hot, powerful shower. Breakfast had all the cereal, yoghurt options etc. but we just had the full cooked breakfast which was excellent.

This is my second visit to Melbreak. We decided to pop in for Sunday lunch and must say the food was excellent! Between the three of us, there was no second thought about the starter, as we all decided on the sticky BBQ ribs, a real treat! Great portion size served with a simple salad, perfect. For our mains we...

Decided to take advantage of the Jan/Feb BOGOF offer on afternoon tea, and very nice it was as well. It's nice to be able to have a option to have more savoury and less sweet. Nice sandwiches, the usual, cucumber, egg and ham, a sure winner. Savoury additions of pie and scotch egg, nice friendly staff and plenty of tea.

Situated in the middle of nowhere this nice hotel offers typical british style. The Personnel was very nice and the rooms where clean and cosy. Rooms are in a building seperated from the main building but only few meters away. The time it took that warm water came from the tap was quite long. Don't miss the good restaurant there!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review following your recent stay with us and, glad to hear, that on the whole, you stay was enjoyable. I do appreciate your comments regarding the water however, the main water tank is situated away from the rooms, hence the delay in getting to the taps. I hope this small inconvenience will not prevent...

Good breakfast with anything hot cooked to order. Restaurant in a nice conservatory with nice views. Good choice of pub like fare and no complaints about quantity and quality of food.Overall a...

Allocated a superior room (8) in the outbuilding - which stands comparison with any top quality hotel. Room had literally just been upgraded to a very good standard. Spotlessly clean, big bed, flat panel smart tv and excellent en suite facilities. Nice and quite, despite being just off main road, allowing a good nights sleep. Bar with restaurant. No traditional...
