AVOID at all costs. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are of ethnic origin. We stayed here for one night after attending a wedding. Was the worst hotel experience of my life. The staff kept knocking on our door as apparently we were too loud. We had no music on, and the tv was switched off. They...

We booked this hotel last minute after deciding to visit alton towers. It looked close enough of a map and had good reviews. It was everything we needed. Checked in around 5pm after the first full day in the park, we had a large downstairs room with all facilities. (We asked for a hairdryer at the front desk) There is...

We spent charming day in Alton towers resort and we chose this hotel again, as we had very good experience from stay before. Staff was cheerful, rooms clean and quiet, bed comfy, pub next to the hotel offers tasty meals and staff there was great too. Can´t fault anything. Thank you for taking care of us.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here on 12th May as a stopover before going Alton towers on the 13th. This hotel has all that you need. The location is great as you have a pub and an aldi's next to the hotel. We were very satisfied with our stay. Would recommend going to the pub as well and try the...

On previous visits to the UK we’ve found Travelodge properties to be good value, clean and comfortable. Most have bright rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Décor is standard though room sizes and nearby amenities vary depending on location. Based on past experience we booked Travelodge in several locations for a recent UK road tour. This was the third Travelodge we...

Q good Base for going into the Peak District, the hotel was quiet and clean, however the room smell a bit like someone had been smoking the in the past, a cheap air freshener for the aldi next door did the trick. Other than that it was a great 3 day stay. If you drink a lot of tea please...

A very relaxing stay after a busy day in Alton Towers (only about 15 minutes drive). The location is excellent, with aldi right next door - which was ideal seeing as I forgot toothpaste! The pub next door was lovely and perfect to have everything so close together. Sat in the beer garden watching the sunset over the beautiful views....

Was a really nice area and very quite at night and can hear birds singing in the morning. The pub next to it was quite expensive for what it offered but as there is an Aldi over the road you can get little things to munch on especially as we spent the weekend at Alton towers

We stayed for one night at the end of April. The room was clean and the location quiet. Friendly staff. About a 10 minute walk in to Ashbourne, which is lovely, particularly if the weather is poor (as was with us). Next door to the hotel is a pub that does fantastic meals at two for £10 Mon - Fri,...

A great base to explore Derbyshire from, and very near to Alton Towers. The room was clean and very presentable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Be aware there is no bar or cooked food here, just a limited breakfast choice. Nice pub right next door caters accordingly. Highly recommended.
