Lovely caravan site very clean and well presented. Other reviews have shown negatively about shower and toilet cleanliness however this is not the case. Showers were clean and hot also spacious allowing you to hang clothes and towels with a stool to sit if required. 20p to use the shower which appears to be a criticism from other reviews however...

..I'd not been camping for at least 10 years , so when looking for somewhere to stay I wanted a few home comforts. The site has a pub & sports bar that does takeaway food (or eat in) . It has a decent ,not overpriced shop. Hot showers at 20p for 4 minutes , very clean too .Several onsite toilets...

If your touring it's okay if not they only have four choices. Two cottages, one apartment and one caravan. Don't know about the cottages or the apartment as I am not good with stairs so chose the caravan. Stayed one night and it was so bad got my money back and went elsewhere. Carpet has never been cleaned and there...

A lovely spacious camping park, with an amazing variety of facilities. Toilets are very clean and are spread about so no accidents occur! They've got a lovely walk into the nearest town - Ashbourne - on a trail that sends you through a tunnel. Ashbourne itself is a lovely town and lots of nic-nack shops. Most of the staff are...

If your looking for a base camp for the Peak District then Callow Top is ideal. Nice large plots, good choice of fields. We recommend field 5. Close to facilities, but far enough to be away from the crowds. Facilities are good, for a large site they are better than most. Walking distance to Ashbourne town centre and right on...

Just back home after 2 weeks in our touring caravan in Callow Top. Site and amenities are really good ... warm shower rooms and toilets very welcome on a cold day! Food served in Arnold's was good value for money and in the evening it was nice to relax in the Callow Inn. I would highly recommend Sunday lunch in...

Nice site, good facilities, but the noise both day and night is intolerable, it was like a traveller site, swarms of kids racing round the roadways on every conceivable wheeled transport, even had a child of about five driving his remote controlled car under my caravan whilst I was motormoving it to hitch up, whilst dad sat drinking his beer...
