Decided to stay overnight following a meal here with friends. Felt welcomed right from the start, nothing too much trouble. Comfy room (number 3) overlooked the rolling hills, steamy shower equipped with quality toiletries. The full English breakfast was incredible, as were the hosts. Would definitely recommend.

I have been to this pub 3 times for a meal not to stay. The food is delicious and there is not a chance you will leave hungry - the portions are VERY generous. The fish and chips are amazing - can't wait to return.

Having dined at Okeover on a number of occasions I thought it about time I wrote a review. Always a warm welcome and relaxing atmosphere. We booked a table for an evening meal with friends and as we have found previously the table was ready for us upon arrival. You are never rushed to order, served with a smile and...

Visited here for some hearty food after a long walk around the peaks. Was blown away with atmosphere and friendly staff who had knowledge on the ales when we asked. Lovely log burners heating the whole place felt so good after the walk and cold winds! Ordered drinks and food, all reasonably priced. Portions are huge, but such good value...

I was met with a warm welcome and was able to check in early after a long drive from the south. Room 2 is very comfortable with a refurbished bathroom, raindrop shower and loads of hot water. The tv and remote work fine (unlike so many hotel remotes with dead batteries) and the queen size bed is very comfortable. The...

I have dined here regularly over the last 2 years and have enjoyed the meals provided, however, our last two visits have not been anywhere near those standards. The meals haven't been as well cooked and the portions, particularly with the mixed grill have declined in size. This is such a pity as I do like the venue and it's...

If I had written this after 3 nights my review would have been My room was clean, the shower worked, the telly worked and I slept well. Plenty of tea and coffee. There was no wardrobe but a wall attachment to hand clothes up (lots of hangers) and I think two people would struggle with drawer space. The wifi wasn't...

Well the food was good pub food, no problems there. The table mats all broke, electric socket broke just waiting for little fingers, dead flowers, chairs falling apart underneath and dirty skirting boards with dusty floor. Won't be visiting again shame!

My husband and I went in for a meal last night and my husband had the mixed grill with chips and in the chips was a long hair which he had to pull out of his mouth. Told two of the waitresses and they just said 'oh I'm sorry' where as they should have got someone higher up to come...
