Two night walking stay. Great location near Kinder Scout. Good selection of real ales, drinkable wines. Reasonably priced with good, plentiful breakfast. Good pub dinners. Dog friendly in the bars but not bedrooms. Relaxed and friendly staff.

I think breakfast was either 7am or 7.30 til 9.30 andi think the restaurant was open from lunchtime onwards although we did not eat at the pub so can't swear to it. From midnight until 7 am you are not allowed downstairs due to the alarms being set so don't go down for breakfast early
Hope this helps
