We had stayed in another b+b near Buxton for two nights prior to this stay, and decided we wanted an extra night away, luckily four seasons had rooms free. We chose the room as it looked the most modern from the pictures, however the pictures haven't been updated since it's all been refurbished. The rooms are more modern now. Lovely...

Alan is a welcoming host and is a great source of local info and recommendations for places to visit, with maps and guide books to browse and borrow. Our room (No.1) was spacious and comfortable, and the delicious full English breakfasts kept us going for the whole day! Castleton is a good B&B location, with several pubs with varied menus...

This place is so gorgeous, it's a lovely Victorian house with a vintage feel on the outside. Alan is such a lovely guy and has one of the most cutest dogs I've ever seen, he's very bubbly, a great host and was able to deal with any request such as dietary needs. Me and my partner were in room 3...

It was easy to book by email/phone with Alan being incredibly helpful given that we booked quite late for the Friday night of August BH weekend. Our rooms (2 for 5 of us) were spacious and clean with good bathroom facilities and breakfast on Saturday morning was wonderful. Alan was the best kind of host: helpful and accommodating without being...

We stayed at this B&B on Saturday 5th September 2015. We turned up on spec in Castleton not knowing if we were going to stay over or not, the place is beautiful so naturally decided to stay for the night. What a find...this little B&B made our stay special. Pristine rooms, fluffy towels which are whiter than white, the bed...

I stayed for 2 nights with my husband and 14 year old daughter. The room was spacious, beds comfy and the large ensuite was fabulous and modern.. Great welcome. Laid back atmosphere with our own front door key. Nice added touches like squash sachets on tea/coffee tray.
