Arrived on Saturday for overnight stay for my birthday. Greeted by Gary who shown us to our room. Janet very kindly left me chocolate prosecco and a card which was a lovely touch. Room clean bright and decorated well, bed comfortable. Breakfast was divine. Views breathtaking. Would love to stay here again. It's a walk if around 15 mins to...

What an amazing place- lovely and peaceful in such beautiful surroundings and everything you could wish for in a farmhouse B&B. Comfortable room, a view to die for, a perfectly cooked breakfast and such a lovely host. We had room 3 which was the family room and more spacious for two people. It was our wedding anniversary and there was...

We spent six nights here at the beginning of June. Our son (who lives in London) spent two of those nights here too as part of our "catch up" holiday. The property is a working farm in a beautiful setting below Mam Tor. The house is old in a good, characterful way. Friendly family, cosy rooms, great views from upstairs...

My husband and I stayed here on a short holiday and we booked the en-suite, double bed with a twin bed. From the main photo, the bedroom window is the top right. The views are great and the sound of the sheep delightful. It was great to stay away from the village but it's a short walk through a footpath...

What a lovely place to stay, very comfy rooms which were well equipped and lovely big breakfast to set you up for the day. Brilliant base for walking in Castleton, out of the way of town so if out during the evening worth taking a torch to find your way back.

We stayed at DUNSCAR farm, on a two night weekend break in July 2016.If you want to feel part of the village...there's no better place to stay.A working farm, just outside the village, 15 mins walk, and the view from our room (family room/en suite) was amazing. Its a typical farm house...don't go there if you want a boutique hotel.Gary...

We stayed as part of a large party for 3 nights and found this to be an exceptional B&B. Our room was spotless with great consideration taken for our comfort. The Bed was lovely and the breakfast (wow amazing) I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough. Janet and Gary are good hosts, unobtrusive but always at hand if needed.

We managed to get in here at the last minute, luckily, as we needed accommodation very close to Hope. We were organising a challenge walk to raise money for WaterAid. The room was small but well decorated and furnished and the bathroom was fitted in very well. The breakfast was great - fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals, then full English...

Breakfast really tasty and provided a great start to the day. Can't wait to come again. Perfect place to recharge from every day stresses. Brilliant Base for cycling enthusiasts.
