Nothing to add. The staff is professional. Very clean room and silent. I had a very comfortable night. The place is fantastic. The breakfast is fresh and homemade. Lovely. Wide and free carpark. Also the wifi was for free.

Our Hosts were houghtful and kind. We stayed 3 days. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Portions could have been larger, but that's me - I love my food and have a waistline and wonky knees to prove it! We'd stay again.

When I have to stay overnight I much prefer a small/medium size hotel where you experience personal service, good food and excellent accommodation and as far as I am concern Wind In The Willows ticks all these boxes. In addition due to the location I will be staying with my wife to enjoy a weekend break in the near future....

Stayed in Glossop for work recently and frankly didn't fancy the Travelodge. I knew this would be a risk but it was a nice one worth taking. The location is lovely – right at the end of Snake Pass and up a lane. The house is large but perhaps not quite as welcoming as it seems – I think this...

Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night in this 2 storey, Victorian mini-mansion. The room and facilities we very spacious with sweeping frmland views from the upper floor and very spacious. The evening meal was a Gourand's delight. All 3 courses exceptional. A must to visit even if only for dinner !

Our second visit to this hotel. The first was years ago at the start of our honeymoon so this year to celebrate our anniversary I secretly booked us in for dinner and to stay the night. It was just as good as we remembered! The room was lovely and the dinner excellent. The service is very good and very friendly....

Stayed 4 nights with sister brother-in-law. Scenery was fantastic - a great location and very peaceful. Hosts were very friendly and the rooms comfortable and well furnished. Lovely hot water. Wifi worked really well. Food was delicious and relevant items cooked to one's taste.

I love this place! The proof being that we have stayed here 4 times now and have always found it to be excellent. It is located on the way out of Glossop (or in depending on where you're coming from) and although it is relatively close to the A57 it is very peaceful. The owners always greet you with quiet...

Quiet, cosy, relaxing and warm. Just a mile out of Glossop right at the foot of the Snake Pass, this is the ideal base to sample city or country. A warm and friendly welcome which is what we needed as autumn arrived that day. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, the bed comfortable and warm and the water hot...

I stayed one night at the Wind in the Willows. The location is beautiful and I found the accommodation and food entirely satisfactory, although costly for what it is. Despite having requested a table for 7pm, and arriving very shortly before that time, I was told on arrival that dinner was at "7:30 for 8," which I guess was done...
