This is a very charming B&B It is very clean and preserved to a high standard. All all staff are very positive and supportive . Breakfast is EXCELLENT by all standard and it has the sense of being homely with a largr wooden dining table for all to share and sit around it while the chef prepares your food. The...

Went to an interesting psychotherapy conference at the Berne Institute. That was a lovely day and stayed at Kegworth House overnight rather than drive back to London. The room was nice and comfortable and felt very friendly - if that makes sense - or maybe it was the owners who made it feel very friendly. Had a lovely freshly cooked...

Many thanks for your very kind comments. It was a pleasure to serve and look after you during your stay, especially as it was during our first week of trading. We very much look forward to welcoming you to Kegworth House in the near future. Thank you.

5 star? Hahaha, -1 rather. Calling during the night, looking for desperately 3 single rooms. He picks up the phone and starting to tell me off, "we are in the middle of the night (really? who'd thought that), call back next week". Still calm:" am looking for rooms for today." Answer: "stupid you"... Nice, warm and friendly! Congrats for your...

Firstly may I point out that we are a family run 5* Bed & Breakfast and NOT a hotel, and therefore we DO NOT have a 24 hour reception, so therefore you would have awoken the owners with your call with, as you stated "you called in the night". Secondly, I hope this very unfair review, as you did not...

We've been here twice now - once when taking G/F's daughter to an open day at nearby Sutton Bonington school of agriculture, and once as a valentine day trip for G/F while I was collecting some Volvo parts in nearby Derbyshire. Love it. Fabulous historic house. The village of Kegworth is named after it, not the other way round. Parking...

Stayed here for just 1 night as a child and dog free chillout break. Such a beautiful place. Stayed in room 6. The bathroom is as big as our bedroom at home. Lots of little extra touches compared to your usual hotel chain. Various pubs within walking distance and also places to eat. Had a great nights sleep. Aeroplanes flying...

We stayed in the honeymoon room as our venue did not have rooms to stay. The manager (Jurgen) was very helpful throughout our stay, helping us with checking in at 01:00 and offering to help with our bags as we left. His knowledge of the local area was brilliant. The room itself was very clean and large with a sleigh...

I recently stayed 3 nights at Kegworth house with my partner and really enjoyed my stay. On arrival we were welcomed warmly and shown to our room (4). The room was quite small but very cosy and had all the facilities needed. We were provided with an information book which was very knowledgeable and helpful in allowing us to plan...

Very helpful and friendly Staff and Manager, great rooms, great location for Donington Park. Rooms spotless and very big and beautifully decorated and themed. Near the flight path from the airport but noise didn't bother us it wasn't that intrusive, nor was the road. It's a fantastic little haven in the area. Recommended 100%.
