Booked through the Alton Towers website. The location is perfect (especially if you drive your own car, as the taxi fare was pretty expensive). I loved the atmosphere, very cosy and warm, the rooms amazing, loved the bathtub! The food in the restaurant was pricey, but delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Alton Towers.

We bought an Amazon Local voucher for our stay. We wanted the Peak District but didn't really have any other preferences. We chose a two night option which included a three course meal on the first night and a continental breakfast each morning. This cost £129 plus a £20 supplement as we would be here on a Saturday. From the...

Thanks for the great review, and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. I wish you had brought to our attention the lack of meat in your venison casserole, so we could have brought you some more.

We stayed for one night during our recent weekend visit to Alton Towers. There were two families of four so we had two quad rooms - comfortable, clean and warm. Nice quiet location without the noisy disturbances you can get with some hotels. We ate our evening meal in the pub on the Saturday evening, and the quality was really...

As I'm sure with many other people, we stayed in this hotel overnight as we were visiting nearby Alton Towers for the weekend. There were a group of 4 of us in two rooms. Upon first arriving there were plenty of car park spaces available, and we had no problem getting to or finding the hotel. When we arrived it...

This is a review for the B&B. I will be preparing a separate review for our evening meal in the restaurant. It will not be good. Our welcome was warm and helpful. Main entrance hall is a bit cluttered and strange, with cuddly bears on sale next to the shampoo. We stayed in a family room. This was fine, if...

I am pleased you found the location was good for Alton towers and walking. As to breakfast I am really sorry the staff were still cleaning the bar when you came for breakfast, I have taken this up with the head housekeeper who has spoken to the cleaning staff to not Hoover bar while guest are having breakfast. A really friendly and warm welcome from very down to earth people. Only stayed for a single night but would have been comfortable and happy to have stayed longer. Very good food especially the breakfast and not bad ale in the bar either. Rooms were really spacious and warm and had all amenities needed. Reason for our stay was a...

From the minute we stepped into the cosy reception area we were totally at ease. The lady on reception was all smiles and made us feel extremely welcome and advised us of meal times etc. We were then shown to our room which was clean & nicely decorated. I was staying here with a friend and my 4 year old...
