Stayed here with my wife for a wedding in Baldock. The breakfast was in room, but plenty to eat: croissants, cereals, porridge, orange juice etc. Heating very good and bed very comfortable + a very good bathroom. TV with all Sky Channels - surprising for a B & B but good. Recommended

The rooms are excellent, very well decorated and plenty of space. The bathroom is also of a very high standard. The breakfast is excellent and there is everything you need. The Hosts are very nice and very accommodating. It is also excellent value for money.

The accommodation was lovely, spacious and detached from the house (which did contribute to seeing little of the hosts, though when we did meet them, they were very hospitable). Breakfast: I can see that it might lose marks from some guests for not only offering only continental but even that being cheese only - no meat but, for us, the...

We recently stayed 7 nights here, and at the risk of repeating all the previous reviews - it is superb. The room is immaculate, the bathroom is huge, the facilities are first-rate. There is opportunity to enjoy the enormous garden, or walk the nearby Kingfisher Way into Baldock. The facility is admirably maintained by Sally, who is extremely helpful, and...

Most recent 6 day stay in Baldock while visiting my daughter. This is the second time I have stayed here and will definitely return. Templars Cross Lodge has a small number of clean spacious rooms. it has a well stocked "breakfast cupboard and fridge". The rooms overlook a large grassed garden. It is quiet and feels safe. It is about 1km...

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights last week while visiting our son and his family in Baldock. I was interested to see why all previous reviewers had given it top marks, as in my experience, its almost impossible to please all of the people all of the time. I'm not going into great detail, I...

We recently stayed here for two weeks while visiting family in Baldock. It is a very quiet, tranquil setting and Sally, the owner, took very good care of us, it was much appreciated. From here it is a very short walk into the village of Baldock. We look forward to staying again when we return to England. Larry & Pat...

We found this B&B on the internet (not via Trip Advisor this time though) quite by chance. What a fab find. After a hectic drive down the A1 it was wonderful to arrive to such a warm welcome and to such a tranquil setting. The gardens are huge and well kept with trees surrounding the property which give the impression...

I read all Trip Advisor's reviews before choosing to stay at the Lodge for two nights when I visited Baldock for a family funeral. I agree with everything, and I mean everything said in your reviews, so I won't repeat the adulation, but I will add a few more facts which seem to have gone unnoticed by your other reviewers....

We stayed here with our two very young children whilst visiting the area. The room was immaculate and tidied and topped up with supplies everyday. It was ideal for the children with a stocked fridge, cereals/croissants, tv with a whole range of sky channels including children's channels, a lovely open garden area (an outdoor pool for a less 'baltic' time...
