We stayed the night in the "Granary" cottage, this has an upstairs bedroom and bathroom with an open plan kitchen/lounge downstairs. It was so cosy, we felt right at home. It was spotlessly clean with everything that we could need for our stay. We would recommend it to anyone!

My room was so spacious and my bathroom was in THE fashion of a galley but very functional and clean. THE pressurised hot water system makes THE difference for showering as it...

I was lucky enough to stay in both a cottage and one of the bedrooms and they are all to an exceptionally high standard. Amanda, the owner, was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Especially, as I needed a room at short notice. The paddock was perfect for my dogs and they too, enjoyed their stay. When I encountered a minor...

We booked a family room, bed and breakfast for me, my husband and son before a Wiggle sportiff my husband was taking part in. Amanda rang on the day to say she had a cottage free and ask if we would prefer that, rather than having to all be in the same room together. Which was great and really considerate....

It was a return visit to stay at Granary Cottage for a week in August/September. The cottage has undergone a make-over since our visit in May last year and what a transformation!! Excellent base for travelling around Yorkshire, couldn't recommend it enough (particularly if you are a dog owner). Friendly family run cottages with extremely helpful owners. We take the...

Our host greeted us with some Yorkshire Tea with cream scones! We had a well decorated ground floor room with direct access out to the car park making it easier for the dogs. The bathroom was well fitted with a shower Breakfast was scrumptious and on the Sunday we had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Very convenient for Darlington Dog...
