Bundanoon Hotel is steeped in history. A fabulous old estate set on sprawling grounds with tennis court and swimming pool. A wonderful location next to the railway station, restaurants, cafes and galleries. Rooms are clean and comfortable, some with ensuite bathrooms. Shared guest lounges are available as well as the pub and dining room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, but not at all like the picture. (I wish I'd taken a photo) No instructions as to how to use the heater. (Turns out you need to ask someone at reception to turn it on - if you can find them). The shared women's bathroom is clean. Access is via a key code. The person who...

I arrived an hour after I'd advised I'd be arriving. It was a very cold weekend and the heater in my room was off. I put it on and went out to eat. On returning, my room was still cold. I sat in the guest lounge which had a fire, then the tv room. 5 hours after switching on my...

My second review.. this is the best stay you and your family will have. The hotel is huge. With huge heaters and fire places in three TV rooms. The rooms are great and warm.. the food is world class and plenty of it. The staff are family. They care. So helpful to help out in any way. This huge hotel...

I stayed there on the 28th May with friends (8 of us) after cycling from Wollongong. We were told by the Manager that we weren't allowed to have any of the specials on the menu and had to have the over-priced meals. They even charged us an extra $2 for a teaspoon of ice-cream on our desserts ($11) for a...

What great place to stay. All the staff from reception, bar and dining were very welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are large with comfy beds. They great selection of pub grub, just make sure you book a table. Plenty of room to relax away from the bar as well. The place is a little run down and lacks wifi and...

Haven't stayed for 19 years. Happy to see it hasn't changed too much. Bathrooms upgraded, beds good, exceptionally clean. We especially enjoyed the open fireplace each night in the guest lounge. Felt at home and comfortable. Good heating. Ok,, the furniture may be a bit mismatched and worn and not true to era, but it adds to the charm not...

We are saying in town for a few days and decided to eat here last night. The waitress was a little rude about seating us but I thought that was because we were walk ins. I knew she was rude in the way she pointed us at the bar as if we were stupid for not knowing our way around....

Stayed for the weekend and loved it. The whole weekend was stunning. Bundanoon Hotel was an old hotel with lots of character, the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I have to complain about is no Wi-Fi and no TV in the rooms... come on bundanoon hotel. .. it's 2016... For the amount of money we paid... I...

The Hotel does have free Wi-Fi available to houseguests. There are no TV's in the rooms as we have surveyed many houseguests over the years and they all stated that the reason they come to the Hotel is to enjoy the atmosphere, not to watch TV. There are two Guest Lounges with large screen TV's available for the use of...
