We stayed overnight in January. The hotel is a mix of comfortable and a bit tired. We came in from the unpaved car park and walked up the narrow, dark steps to check in. Not a great first impression, but the reception was friendly and we were quickly booked in. Our King room was clean and pleasant. The bathroom had...

...Love everything about this place. Steeped in history, and not afraid to let her age show. ...Pool surrounded by lovely cool climate garden...tennis court at the ready... and indoors, there's a full -size billiard table, adjacent to the coolest/cosiest guest lounge. David fixes a great hot brekky ... just the ticket for starting a day's exploration of all the area...

A wonderful experience. To see such old hotels still in existence and maintained so well was a real treat. I stayed there with my two young grandsons and intentionally selected a 'triple room with handbasin'. Once they got over the shock of not having an ensuite, the lads thought the idea of toilets/showers a few metres removed plus the many...

We recently stayed here as the base for a golf weekend. Sue arranged our booking and was really helpful and friendly. The rooms are big with high ceilings. We had ensuite rooms that have new bathrooms and are quite tasteful. The beds are large and maybe a 6 out of 10 for comfort. Try to get a room away from...

We visited the Bundanoon Hotel for a senior's birthday celebration. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the pleasant wait staff in the restaurant and the heritage atmosphere of the lounges. However, wait until you try to buy a drink from the surly male staff behind the bar. Every customer is a pest and every request seems...

As others have said, beautiful old building, run down rooms, OK beds and you get what you pay for, cheap accommodation in an old pub. What struck me was the number of signs telling you what you MUST NOT do all over the place, from no food in the beer garden to the absolute cracker on the back of our...

Firstly, there are no signs about not eating in the beer garden, in fact, it is a very popular seating area in the summer for dining guests. Our smoke alarms are regularly serviced by Wormald. Even they admit that aerosol sprays will set of the smoke alarms and are at a loss to suggest why. If an alarm is set...

This is a local pub with accommodation....that's it. Don't expect anything else. The rooms are basic (some with ensuite, others with shared communal bathroom) but it's fine for one or two nights if needed. The staff were nice, the locals were fun. We were here for a wedding in the area so won't be making a habit of staying here...

Recently stayed here for 1 night. I booked online. Some of the rooms are described as being older style. I specifically chose the double + 2 singles as it didn't have that description and I'd read some other reviews about these rooms being disappointing. Unfortunately we were given the king + triple and it was definitely older style. Extremely dated...

A nice lunch with an adjusted menu as a consequence of a busy day the day before.Main courses were good but I wouldn't rave about them. Hotel is huge,so you could wander around whilst you waited for your meals. I don't know what the rate is to stay overnight but I reckon that might of been good.

What a great time we had. Myself & 3 girlfriends spent Saturday in the hotel & had a wonderful time. We had the family room with a queen bedroom & three single beds plus a ensuite bathroom. Our package include Xmas dinner & breakfast. We started at 6.30 with pre dinner drinks in front of a blazing fire ,mmmm mulled...
