We booked a shared-bathroom double room because there was very little accommodation left on Anzac weekend when we decided to stop over in Hepburn Springs. One of the friendly owners, Jenny, met us and immediately told us we’d been upgraded to a studio apartment, which was a delightful and welcome surprise. We were given room 10 on the lower level,...

We booked Mooltan house online when we were about 50km away in the car. The process was easy and quick. getting there the welcome was friendly and well-worn. The couple running this old boarding house have been here 20 or more years and knew their job. They had also collected nick-nacks over that time and it seemed they were all...

With the temperature around 39 degrees we were looking forward to a spell of coolness under an .airconditioner. Not to be.The room had a noisy fan with a mosquito net over the bed which further reduced the old fans efficiency. Okay let's open the large biofold window to get a bit of evening coolness. Not only did this display seldom...

If you like cosy, homely, vintage, quirky, cottage feel, and if your British and feeling nostalgic this is like your nans; then this is the place for you. If your a modern person likes up to date savvy modern environments don't book here. It's definitely very homely, and the owners are very genuine kind people. You can tell how much...

We arrived on a chilly Tuesday afternoon. No one was there to greet us so we called the phone number provided. A man answered saying the owners were away and that our key was in the door. The room was cold and smelly. The electric jug didn't work, the tv reception was terrible and the crockery was dirty and dusty....

The hedge around the building is amazing - it looks like its going to be a fabulous place to stay. We were in one of the motel like rooms near the car park and the room itself was fine. The bath was the smallest I've ever seen but the water pressure in the shower was good. Heating was adjustable and...

We spent three nights there last week. Quaint, old-fashioned but very comfortable. There was no shampoo or shower soap provided but some were provided after mentioning this. The main house has a large library, a sun room and a pool table available to guests. Our host Eddie was very helpful with tips on where to eat and what to see....

We had one of the cosy upstairs rooms which open onto the verandah overlooking tall trees and the back garden, lovely spot for afternoon drinks. We loved spending time in the library room. Great location with Star café just up the road for our breakfast and just down the road is the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa which is the public...
