You don't come here for the rooms, they are quite basic but the aspect by the river is wonderful and it is an excellent base to explore the region. Lovely verandah with cooking facilities allows you to enjoy breakfast / coffee etc. while enjoying the river sights and sunsets. Sally and team are wonderful hosts.

We had one night in the 'deluxe queen room' which was great value. Having arranged in advance to arrive a bit later than usual check-in we got a warm welcome from the lovely hostess Sally. The room was clean with towels provided and it had an ensuite. We did not see the amazing view until the morning and had to...

I have to say when my husband and I first arrived at the lodge i thought id made a boo boo in booking a room there, how wrong i was. This place is amazing and gets you right back to life before the invension of technology. No tv in the room and no wifi meant getting back to basics, if...

High above the Daintree River is a huge balcony with a communal kitchen. Great to sit at night and watch the crocs swim by (you can see their orange eyes). All rooms are clean and comfortable with airconditioning.

Stayed here for 1 night and camp wasn't that busy so we had pick of the litter for a nice site. Lovely setting with lots of lush greenery, flowers, fruit trees and butterflies. Camp kitchen had all you needed to make some good grub and its bush camp set up and view were a real highlight. Helpful friendly staff and...

We booked into the premium room of the lodge having seen them online. Our $140 gave us a view of the river, a clean bed, bathroom, towel and piece of soap. The communal balcony contained tables and chairs, lounges and a kitchen area that were well past their use by date. The tea towel was only changed when we asked....

Booking into this park was fun, the manager was like Mick Dundee, hat included, very helpful and friendly. We had an unpowered site for one night for the RV. Basic facilities but fitted in well with the atmosphere. There is a old time museum full of historical items. Situated in Daintree village, close to shops and bar. The manager also...

This Camp ground might not rate as a luxury resort, but its comfortable and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and refreshing. We arrived here after staying at a number of camp grounds and this is the place I rated highest. It's not something I can put into words, but I just felt very comfortable and at home here.

Stayed there in the camp grounds and it was very enjoyable to just set up the camp in the shady sites. It was such a simple process from start to finish, well priced sites and adequate facilities. Great location and a view well worth the trip.

Exuding country, nature, warmth, authenticity and great personal service; Daintree River View Lodges has got to be your abode at Daintree Village. They also welcome campers at 10AUD a night. My husband and I love it here so much that our hearts irk that we only have a night to enjoy this beautiful place. Huge shared veranda, kitchen and barbecue...
