After 5 weeks traipsing across Australia, culminating in the excitement of a family wedding, our 2 days spent here was a fantastic way to relax and unwind. It had been arranged by our relations, parents of the groom, who had enjoyed a previous visit and had wanted to bring us here. Everything about Yabbaloumba exceeded our expectations - the warm...

We enjoyed two (2) nights in modern cabin accommodation in studio style, large spacious bathroom, separate spa bath, king size bed, comfortable leather lounge with TV and selection of DVD's, meals available on request. On arrival greeted with a bottle of wine and a cheese platter. Our meal choice was salmon, prawn, salad main with chocolate/strawberry mouse. (Two meals total...

I spent a wonderful week at Yabbaloumba Retreat on my own. I needed to recharge my batteries and reconnect with nature. I spent the week without any internet, minimal TV, eating healthy food, watching the geese on the lake, swimming in the creek and finding myself after a very stressful time. This was the perfect place to do this. The...

The attention to detail in this accommodation is absolutely second to none. Prior to staying, I saw that many reviewers had written, "the owners have thought of everything", and I wasn't quite sure what this could mean, but it is no exaggeration; binoculars, hiking sticks, a book about the local birds... I was so impressed to see all of these...

This was our second visit to this wonderful B&B. Not only are the views spectacular, but the appointments in the cabins are of an extremely high quality. A welcome plate of lovely Kenilworth cheeses, biscuits and a bottle of white, crisp wine set the scene for a wonderful stay. Breakfast could be as little or as much as one wanted,...

Yabbaloumba is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The location is superb, quiet, yet not too far from Brisbane (or the Sunshine Coast), the hosts are extremely gracious and friendly, and the facilities are elegant, comfortable and yet not overstated. We have stayed here a number of times and keep looking for an opportunity to return. We know of...

Wish we could have stayed longer!!! We just wanted a night away from the city, so jumped on line and booked with no prior knowledge of Yabbaloumba Retreat. What an amazing suprise when we got there! The view is amazing, the farm was beautiful and the hosts are so personable and kind, but it was the little things that made...

Luxury cabins in a huge farm with waterfront crystal clear creek. On our arrival, the cabins don;t look luxury but when you get inside they are very much so. Beautiful views, interior decoration, stocked fridge, complimentary bottle of wine, local cheeses, fruit selection, quality bathroom consumables, bathrobes were high quality. We loved everything, including the late check out (noon).
